I, Akansha Choudhary, a 1st year BM student among many at XIMB would like to take you through the journey of reaching these portals of XIMB!
Like any other Management aspirant, I was keen on getting into the best b-school, however, I had never realized how difficult it’s going to be, balancing the hectic work schedule with the study schedules, mock tests and their analysis and what not. Some days I would feel on cloud nine when I would get a good mock score and a bug-free production release but the other days would shatter me when the opposite would happen but I did not give up on my dream of becoming an MBA grad.
Then with a not so good score in CAT/XAT but a phenomenal GD-PI, I converted XIMB and this was the only reputed call that I had, so when I converted XIMB in the 1st list itself, I was filled with pride and excitement. Excited because another new journey was about to kick start. Although XIMB was my only choice but knowing the opportunities that XIMB was going to give me made me overwhelmed.
This college is famous for its Jesuit culture, its people, its faculties (PhD mandatory), the love every senior has for his/her junior and vice-versa. The people here are passionate for not just one thing but for a multitude of activities viz X-Sports , X-Capade (Cultural event), X-walk (the night time walks around campus), Xpressions (the cultural fest that host more than 20000 people) , X-café (the foodie heaven) , the functional committees X-Sys, X-Ops , Xquizzite (quiz competition) and media cell – IlluminatiX. All these Xs show the fascination that the people here have for the X-factor.
I’m sure this 2 years’ journey at XIMB is going to be Xtraordinary and I’m wooed by XIMB.
Which ABG company I would like to work for?
I would love to work for Aditya Birla Capital as I have the acumen for finance and have the relevant work experience as well.
