Aditya Birla Group is one of the most known business house of our country. It is one of the old business houses of our country and have actively participated in building the GDP of our country.
Their presence is pretty much evident in our daily life. Their presence is quite evident from their cement business ie. Ultra Tech Cement. It is the largest manufacturer of cement in India and is among the world’s leading cement maker. It is also present in the textile business. The Aditya Birla Group is the world's largest producer of Viscose staple fibre. Not only this, they have also marked their presence in fashion. Aditya Birla Group sells in-house and other branded apparel via brick-and-mortar and online stores. Their firm Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd. Sells in-house brands such as Allen Solly, Van Heusen, Peter England and Louis Philippe. The Aditya Birla Group also operates Pantaloons, which has been acquired from Future Group. The group also owns the brand- Madura Fashion & Lifestyle.
The business house has also marked its presence in the telecom sector. Idea Cellular was started as a joint venture with the AT&T and the Tata Group.
Not only this the Aditya Birla Group is also present in the financial sector. Aditya Birla Capital (ABC) is the umbrella brand for all the financial services business of The Aditya Birla Group. It ranks among the top 5 fund managers in India.
With such a vast presence in almost every sector, The Aditya Birla Group has become a very important part of every common man.
PART B : My way of overcoming challenges to achieve my ambitions in life so far
Every one of us has faced challenges in our life, even people that seem like everything comes so easily to them. Some people face these challenges with confidence while others keep struggling to overcome them.
To overcome any challenge, it is very important to face that challenge. The best thing that anyone can do is face what’s in front of you head on. As the story of the tortoise and the hare tells us, slow and steady wins the race, I always take my time to overcome any difficulty. Because by being in a hurry, we actually kill the chances of our success. We may learn the easiest way but not necessarily the best way. We need to follow a slow and disciplined approach for any success.
Whenever I am in trouble, I always count my blessings rather counting my troubles. While facing any challenge, I always stay close to my feelings. My feelings have always been a source of my motivation. Without them, there would be no existence of my personality and my individuality. I have always learnt through my experiences that we can both succeed and overcome failure. I have never been scared of facing any challenge. This is because I believe that the sooner I start facing the challenge, the easier it will be to overcome it.
Also I have been an avid reader always. I like reading autobiographies. They have always motivated me. One such motivational autobiography which I came across was “Wings of Fire”. It has taught me most valuable lessons of the lifetime.
Hence by keeping yourself motivated and believing in yourself, one can overcome any challenge in life.
