XIMB Final Placement Report - Consulting, Marketing Most Sought After For MBA-BM Class of 2020

The Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar has released the Final Placements report for the Business Management Class of 2018-20! A total of 365 students participated and were placed in the final placements process. Top brands on campus included Goldman Sachs, Mahindra GMC, Accenture, Nestle, AB InBev, Amazon, and Tata Steel amongst others. The median salary for the batch stood at INR 15 lakhs per annum. These are important highlights from the XIMB final placements report for the Class of 2020.

• The highest international salary stood at INR 58.22 LPA.
• The highest domestic salary stood at INR 26 LPA.
• The average salary for the batch stood at INR 15.42 LPA -  an 8% increase over the previous year.
• The average of the top-50% of the salaries offered stood at INR 18.44 LPA.
• The median salary for the batch stood at INR 15.00 LPA - a 6% increase over the previous year. 
• The median of the top-50% of the salaries offered stood at INR 17.70 LPA.

• A total of 107 recruiters pitched at XIMB, of which 55 were new recruiters.
• 74 pre-placement offers were made by recruiters this year.
• 28% of the batch opted for Consulting, followed by 22% choosing marketing and 20% choosing IT Services and Systems.
• Top brands on campus included HSBC, Goldman Sachs, PwC, Mahindra GMC, AB InBev, Nestle, Reckitt Benckiser, Tata Steel, Oyo Rooms, Salesforce, Amazon, and the Royal Bank of Scotland, amongst others.
