Why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life:
I always call myself an Aditya Birla product, the reason being I have grown up in Aditya Birla township in Nagda, studied in the Aditya Birla Public School and have spent my entire childhood there. So Aditya Birla is not a brand to me it is my home where all my childhood memories are, from Idea being my first cellular phone connection to those visits to More for shopping in Indore which used to some of my favourite things to do. Aditya Birla has made me reach where I am especially by taking care of its employees and their families. As kids living in a small town of Madhya Pradesh we had access to world class academic options to everything beyond studies which included the Lawn Tennis court or the music classes that we attended and I would not forget to mention the swimming pool which was our summer time favourite. I can never be more grateful to Aditya Birla Groups for giving us the best of amenities, and honestly I have never heard of any organisation that has provided so much to their employees and families. To be able to just associate myself with a brand or product of Aditya Birla Group will be belittling everything I have become. Aditya Birla for me will not be a part of my life through a product but it is my life that has been a part of Aditya Birla Groups. While today with so many career options with a lot of opportunities all we look forward to is working for an organisation that values its employees and what better will I find when I can go back to the organisation which has helped me become what I am today.
How you overcame challenges to achieve my ambitions in life so far
One of my life’s ambition was to pursue MBA and be able to get into a prestigious institute such as NMIMS, this took really long though. So I have worked at Capgemini as a consultant for 4 years I joined back in 2012 and was shortly tagged to a project that required me to travel to London for work. Having put into a completely new cultural place I had a lot to learn and be able to excel in the job. Although the initial plan was for spending 2-3 months at London I had planned to return to India and start preparing for entrance exams, however as luck would have it my duration on the project was increased as there were sudden changes in the deliverables and the project was extended which. I believe in doing justice and providing the best of my efforts for every task that I am put on and hence I had to further delay my plans to pursue MBA. Finally once I had delivered all desired deliverables and transferred all key knowledge on products to the various teams I left Capgemini and appeared for my entrance this happened while I was back to India and had my marital responsibilities to look into, however by leveraging my strengths like being a quick learner and persistence I was able to convert my call at NMIMS and be able to fulfil my dream of pursuing MBA from a prestigious institute. I enjoy challenging myself and that is one key factor that has always given me the strength to be able to dream big and fulfil those dreams.
