Curious. Creative. Unafraid of change.
That’s how those who know Yukti Gupta would describe her. Currently pursuing her MBA at IIM Rohtak, Yukti brings a rare mix of analytical clarity and creative instinct to everything she does — whether it’s solving business problems with data, learning new technologies, or telling stories through dance. Her journey, much like her personality, refuses to fit into one box. Scroll down to read how Yukti found her rhythm across disciplines, industries, and life itself.

Finding Rhythm: From Bharatanatyam to Business Analytics
For Yukti, growth has never been linear — it’s been rhythmic. Long before Excel sheets and data models, there were ghungroos and mudras. Completing her Bachelor’s degree in Bharatanatyam in 2021, after six years of disciplined training, stands as one of her proudest achievements. Those years taught her endurance, balance, and the power of mentorship.
“Dance taught me patience and storytelling,” she says. “It showed me that consistency is a language of its own.” Even during the lockdown, when classes moved online and motivation wavered, she stayed the course — rediscovering not only her passion for dance but also a deeper connection with her mother, who supported her every step of the way.
That discipline now finds expression in a very different form — data and consulting. During her summer internship with PwC India in the Advisory - Data Analytics & Cloud division, Yukti worked on projects that required not just technical acumen, but structured thinking and quick adaptability. “I’ve realized that creativity and analytics aren’t opposites,” she shares. “They’re two ways of making sense of the world — one through emotion, the other through logic.”
Her live project with a small medicine distributor in Dehradun further cemented this belief. She automated processes that were previously manual, helping the business streamline operations. What started as a small experiment turned into a new passion — process automation.
What Drives Her: Creativity, Consistency, and Calm Under Pressure
When Yukti describes herself, she doesn’t lead with titles or metrics. Instead, she speaks about how she thinks.
Her first strength is creativity — not just in art, but in problem-solving. “I like approaching problems differently,” she says. “Sometimes the most efficient solutions are the ones that look unconventional at first.” Whether it’s a marketing live project or a case competition, she enjoys connecting dots that others might miss.
Her second strength is consistency. It’s what gets her through challenging projects, demanding coursework, and long-term goals. “Talent is great,” she says, “but consistency is what converts potential into performance.”
Her third strength is composure under pressure. Be it college presentations or professional deliverables, Yukti thrives in time-sensitive environments. Her calm, methodical approach allows her to deliver quality work without losing focus — a trait that makes her a reliable teammate and a strong future leader.
Her Edge in an AI-Augmented World
Unlike many who worry about AI replacing human effort, Yukti believes in working with technology, not against it. She’s been actively upskilling herself in prompt engineering and basic coding, learning how to use AI tools effectively while maintaining human judgment.
“I want to understand where AI can accelerate my work and where it might mislead me,” she explains. “The future belongs to those who can strike that balance — who can use technology without losing intuition.”
This mindset — equal parts practical and forward-looking — defines Yukti’s employable edge. She’s not just tech-aware; she’s tech-resilient.
The Heart of Empathy: A Birthday That Changed Everything
Yukti’s most defining moment came unexpectedly — on her eighteenth birthday.
It was the height of the pandemic. Instead of the celebration she had planned, her parents insisted on visiting anganwadis in Rewari with her uncle, a member of the Rotary Club. Reluctantly, she went along — and found herself distributing jackets and school bags to children in the winter chill.
“What I saw that day stayed with me,” she says. “Their smiles made me realize how little it takes to make a difference.”
That moment shifted something within her. What began as a reluctant gesture became the foundation of her volunteer work. Today, she actively contributes to the Sarvpriye Foundation, an NGO working for women’s empowerment in Delhi. “That birthday taught me that joy multiplies when shared,” she reflects. “Since then, service has been part of who I am.”
Becoming: The Evolving Professional
When Yukti joined IIM Rohtak in 2021, fresh out of school, she had no idea how much her life would change. Hostel life, group projects, late-night submissions — every experience shaped her resilience.
Over the years, she has participated in live projects, case competitions, and positions of responsibility, each one adding a new layer to her skill set. Now, as an MBA student ready to step into the corporate world, she combines curiosity with confidence, and discipline with imagination.
“I don’t fear new technologies or new beginnings,” she says with a smile. “I’ve always been a student — I just keep changing classrooms.”
