I have, what can be called, kind of a framework for situations whenever I face an obstacle in my path. I start by chalking out probable courses of action, sometimes asking for help from people who've been in similar situations earlier, setting short term goals towards the long term ones, committing myself to it and having a ‘never giving up’ attitude. Along with it, constantly practicing and learning more and more so I’m always ready for whatever obstacles come my way, because obstacles are inevitable.

After the CAT results I faced the obstacle of PIs and I wasn’t confident about them at all. Hearing experiences of people appearing in interviews only made me more paranoid about what I was going to face in my interview. I started by reaching out to people who were already in B-schools and had good experience of interviews and prep, given campus recruitments. I got from them interview prep materials, interview experiences and other things and asked them to take mock interviews so that I can get out of the fear with a friendly experience and am able to get through when the D-Day comes. Asking for help from others, when in trouble, has never been an issue for me. One should never feel shy in asking out for help. This is something along with my commitment that has helped me a lot to overcome the challenges that I’ve faced in my life. Without these challenges we can neither improve as a person nor achieve the set targets.
