It all started after my 12th exam when most of my friends were going for JEE coaching classes, some of them were taking admissions, and I was clueless about what to do with my life. I was always an average student got decent marks enjoyed life but never thought about a career that much. So I finally decided to drop a year and prepare for competitive exams without any coaching classes. Fast forward one year, results came out, and I didn’t make it, but I managed to get admission in BHU Bachelor in Science Physics program.

The first day of college, I was sitting in the class thinking about what I’ve done in the past year, and I didn't feel good. First time in life I had tried anything with all my heart and I could not make it, this thought made me feel very small, and that's when I decided I have to crack JEE at any cost. I started preparing again while pursuing my bachelors, it was hard to manage time between two things, but I loved that time. At one instance, I was giving my B.Sc semesters exams and another I was preparing for JEE. That year I cracked all exams and got admission offers from NITs and other good colleges, but I decided to stick with BHU and pursue my study there, maybe I got my feelings attached to that place.

In my last year at BHU, I decided to go for masters in science and took admission in IIT Bombay Applied Geophysics course. That time was like a dream for me, and I can’t explain that feeling. I always wanted to be there, and when I got there, I made sure that I’ll learn as many things as I can. I made friends from different places and cultures, participated in lots of events, and learned new stuff. But again, during my last semester, I was confused about whether to go for a job or MBA.

At last, I had decided that I’ll go for an MBA and I started preparing for CAT. I got decent percentile, and today I am a CROW, a student of IIM Ranchi.

So that was my life from a clueless boy to IIM Ranchi student. It was quite a fascinating journey. As Steve Jobs said, “You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.” today as I look back, I can connect some dots, but I am still exploring what I want to do, and hopefully one day I will find it.
