In at least 250 words or more, tell us ‘Why Aditya Birla Group is big in your life’.
The first point of contact for me with ABG was when I decided to port my mobile number to Idea. And I still believe that it was a great idea. The service and connectivity provided were unparallel. And now after merging with Vodafone, it has become the biggest telecommunication brand in India. ABG the 162-year-old Conglomerate, has always been in the run with time and has time and again adapted to the booming needs and trends. Entering different vertical in consumer space and making customers life easy and peaceful.
From being one of the leader in cement space through its Ultratech brand, also a leader in stainless steel manufacturing with Hindalco, ABG has always strived for being the leader in whatever domain in they operate. Thus setting up the standards of that industry. ABG belives in Organic growth and strives for it. They know that in todays business scenario, its important to build a sustainable business model which can stay in the market for long time rather than a disruptor which cant stay for long.
It inspires me everday to be a better version of myself and continuosely work on growth and not strive for one night success. Definitely it has me immensely in my life. It has teached me how to get results with limited resources and time. When is the correct time in life to move on and when to hold on. The Made in India brand is pride and inspiration for me. ABG is living upto its old and traditional legacy.
Part – B
At the core of the ABGLP program are people who drive to make an impact, irrespective of what challenges they face.
Tell us, in at least 250 words, ‘How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far’.
When I passed my 10th standard with flying colours and putting negligible efforts, I beacme overconfident about my skills. At that young age I was being extremely naive and thought that I am the smartest person on planet, but it was, as if God was smiling on me and was saying a suprise awaits for you in next 2 years. There it came my 12th class, I was at peak of my overconfidence, went to my board exams, gave my engineering exams with the same attitude and over confidence. Now it was time for my results and it was npo short of a disaster. I passed it but it was no short of a failure. I was devasted and left with no option in life. But because of my familys support I went to do my enginnering from a private college in Pune.
It is said that you learn to fight when you fail, and it was surely true in my case. I had no confidence on myself anymore and had only mission of successfully completing my engineering and making my parents proud. I just focused on my academics and started puting more and more efforts in that direction. The only aim of my life was to make my parents happy. And my hardwork paid off when I cracked the first company on campus which was an MNC. Also after that I was able to passed my engineering with 80% on aggregate. The smile on my parents face after my result was priceless and that was the point where I thought I achieved my goal , which I decided in the beginning of the course.
One failure can teach you many lessons and it did teach me many, but one thing that I did learnt was that nothing is impossible if you have enough fire in your belly.
