WHY ADITYA BIRLA GROUP IS A BIG PART IN MY LIFE
Aditya Birla Group is one among the most recognised Indian multinational companies . Let it be Ultratech cement, Allen Solly or Peter England, Aditya Birla Group has played an integral part in the life of every Indian in some or the other form and I am no exception.
Most of the cement used for the construction of my ancestral house was that of Ultratech. That’s the kind of trust we Indians have over the products of Aditya Birla Group. By the time I reached 20,most of my clothes were either of Allen Solly’s or Peter England’s. I preferred these franchises to others because they had a wide range of varieties and colour. Anytime I walk into the showroom of Allen Solly’s or Peter England I don’t face any difficulty in finding my preferred fit even today. In my first corporate interview which I faced during my B.tech days I was wearing a black colour suit of Allen Solly. Infact the HR of the company also appreciated my dressing attire. And yes, I was selected. I had also used the same suit during my XIMB interview and guess what I sailed through this process again with flying colours. The kind of confidence which I get when I put on a shirt of Allen Solly or Peter England, I find it in no other brand.
In short, I would say, Aditya Birla Group was, has been and will remain an integral part in my life.
How I overcame my challenges to achieve my ambitions in life so far
There is not a single person in planet earth who has not faced challenges in his/her life and I am no exception. But we should not allow these hurdles and challenges to overburden us. Infact we should use them as a fuel to propel us to greater heights.
I always have a strong belief that if we are facing harsh winters in our life, spring is also round the corner. What we need to do is to keep our patience and survive those harsh winters in order to enjoy the fruits of spring. And it is during these harsh times that we learn to come out of our comfort zone and face the challenges thrown to us in the journey of life. In 2017, I had appeared CAT exam for the first time. And to be honest, I got really low scores. During that time I was also working in a reputed multinational company and was involved in a complex project. So it was really tough for me to handle my job as well as my preparation. I was really frustrated with my performance but I didn’t allow this frustration to lower my confidence level. This failure also taught me a lot of things regarding time management and how to stay calm during difficult situations. Infact this also helped me to overcome my lacunas during my preparation for 2018 CAT exam. And yes, I performed much better compared to the previous performance and I managed all this pretty well along with my job life. My dedication and hardwork repaid me back and today I am proud enough to be a student of XIMB , one of the most sought after Bschools of India.
