Life is a journey and it is a culmination of various events that shape one’s outlook towards life. Not only the people that we are associated with, but also the things that we use in our daily life has an impact on how we think and feel.

Born and brought up in a tier II city, I have never been much exposed to extravagant global brands. As a child, my very first recollection of a brand was my father shopping for formal wear at a Peter England outlet. Every morning I would see him get dressed in freshly ironed shirts and trousers and it shaped my perception of how a person should dress in a professional setting.

I am a big appreciator of good food and keep watching cooking shows. I had first seen aluminium foil on a TV show and had thought to myself that this is a very American product which will not be available in my hometown. When the first departmental store opened in my town, I was pleasantly surprised to find rolls of Freshwrapp on the racks.

How we dress has a big impact on how the rest of the world perceives us. I bought my very first blazer from Van Heusen when I landed my first job. On my joining day, I paired it with formal shirts from Pantaloons and felt like I was on top of the world. Come to think of it, till date, all my formal shirts are from Pantaloons. If I check my wardrobe, 80% of my outfits will have been purchases from Pantaloons at one point in time or another.

Decades before ‘Make in India’ was the trend, the Aditya Birla Group thought of making India self-sufficient on multiple fronts. They have worked relentlessly to ensure the best of products reach the farthest corners of the country. In a world of many changes, my trust in the Aditya Birla Group’s products remains unmoved.
