My name is Vaibhav Mangla and I hail from a small town of Haryana. I completed my 10th and 12th from CBSE and graduated in B.Sc. Life sciences from Ramjas college (Delhi University). After graduation I worked in the sales department at a retail jewelry showroom based in my hometown Palwal. I have 16 months of experience in gems and jewelry industry and very well knows the trade of gold and silver valuation, vendor management.

Thanks a lot Murugan. I would suggest you to follow Arun sharma books. You can download the e- version for free from the link given. www.pdfdrive.com All the very best!!

The best part I liked is how you prepared for the interview, you showed that to achieve something good you need to think out of the box. Thanks for sharing your insights.

Hi Vaibhav, I have done my B.Sc in Microbiology and I must say there are very few articles on success stories in CAT by a life science background student. Thank you for sharing this. One quick ques- Are we given diversity points for admissions into IIMs? Also, I have noticed that IIM A considers B.Sc students under AC4 which is same as engineers! You have any experience related to it? Would really appreciate your guidance in this.

Hi, Rahul. Yes, we are given diversity points like any other non-engineer aspirant but this is not the case with all the IIMs and weightage for academic diversity also varies. Sorry Rahul I got no idea about that.

Thanks for the clarification vaibhav! Also, could you please share your OA percentile? And your calls? It could be very helpful as I have a similar background.

Hey, Read your story and felt inspired. I come from a similar background, did my B.Sc. Life Sciences from Miranda House College. Had a few more questions about your strategy and initial preparation. How did you start? Math being my weak section, I really wanted to kno how do I start. I'm aiming for CAT 2021 exam.
