Why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life?
Aditya Birla Group an Indian Multinational Conglomerate operating in 35 countries is an industry leader. It was in 1965 that Mr. Aditya Birla started out his own textiles Spinning Mill and ever since then there has been no looking back.
Birla group touches millions of hearts adding value and meaning and I’m no different.
Birla products have been integral part of my daily life and it is one brand that I take pride in associating myself to.
Starting with Idea Vodafone, world’s second largest telecom operator that has been my companion for 7 years now connecting me to my loved ones. In all these years the services I’ve received has been the best I’ve experienced and most importantly at pocket friendly prices (reminds me of those fun days when I would have long chats with my college friends). Not just me but my entire family trusts Idea and enjoys the benefits.
In my third year of graduation, I had my first interview and I remember when I wore my very first pair of formals from Pantaloons and looked into the mirror, I felt confident and had a broad smile on my face.
My younger brother has shared similar experience and talks about how his Van Heusen blazer is close to his heart.
We shared a similar joy when our house grew stronger with Ultratech cement.
Thank you, Aditya Birla Group, for giving me these memories and making special days all the more special not just for me but my family too!
How did I overcome challenges to achieve my ambitions in life so far?
Life has always been kind to me. I’ve had a beautiful childhood and growing up in different parts of the country made it diverse. In school apart from academics I was actively involved in extracurricular activities. Living in rural and semi-urban areas exposed me to the ground reality and the struggles of people living in rural areas. College days were the best days filled with laughter.
Soon after I completed my graduation, I entered the corporate world. I was working with a Consulting firm and with power comes great responsibility. I took over as module lead and it proved as a learning curve in my career. It sharpened both people and technical skills, sometimes the hard way. I decided to pursue MBA from a premier B school and the journey thereafter was not a cakewalk.
Conscious of my responsibilities at work, it had become challenging to manage both ways, each of them being equally important for me.
I set targets for myself, organized my work and preparation schedule alongside without compromising with my deliverables and quality of work. Of course, not each day was as rosy but something that doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger.
During this tenure I received recognition at work for a major deliverable and I was happy I could slowly balance things out.
With continued hard work and perseverance, I finally made it to TAPMI!
At that moment I felt accomplished and that my hard work had finally paid off.
