I got to know about Aditya birla Group from my best friend Mukul who studied at Aryaman Vikram Birla Institute Of Learning haldwani. From him I came to know about the fact that ABG is always indulged in CSR activities. For instance in haldwani they provided students with merit scholarships they are also a part of Sarv shiksha abhiyan which aims at universalizing of elementary education. I got really inspired by the CSR activities carried out by ABG and decided to research a bit more about it. I found out about their initiative to be a part of polio eradication programme where they helped immunize 70 million children against polio. They even provided 5000 physical challenged people with artificial limbs making them self reliant. There are many other such examples but this is something which touched my heart. ABG sends a clear message - no matter how competitive and profit driven society becomes humanity will never die.
The learnings which form the base of our values and believes come from our parents and our school. Hence it won't be wrong to say that I got my best friend because of ABG. Talking about another important contribution of ABG in my life then I can't forget my first SIM card 'idea cellular' which was always there with me from my school days to the days when I was managing a 4 crore turnover business.
