Aditya Birla Group needs no introduction, whether its clothes we wear or house we live in or communication network we use we realize how products and services from Aditya Birla Group are making our live easier. It is not the way of doing business that I admire most about this group but the culture they have, how much they care about their employees and customers, has affected me most. I had a friend whose father worked in Hindalco, he always used to boast about the township he has spent his childhood in and the luxurious life he has spent. One day I asked him if his father is so good in his work than why he has always been associated with just one company, why wouldn’t he switch to different company that may pay him more? He replied that his father takes pride in being associated with Aditya Birla Group and would love if he also works with same group. He explained that his father is man of values and what matters most to him is “integrity”, he prioritize his peace of mind most. That is when I realized what makes Aditya Birla Group different from others, values of group- Integrity, Commitment, Passion, Seamlessness and Speed are imbibed in blood of employees. Many generations of families have been in Hindalco, there are employees in senior positions in group whose father and grandfather have worked for the company and now they are certain that their child too would like to work for same company. Employees feel that they belong to the company and they try their best to take care of the business and customers. No wonder, this group has so many loyal customers, whether it is telecommunication or fashion or finance, customers delight always comes first.

How I overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life?
Whether life has been hard for you or not is just a matter of perspective. When you realize yourself, you realize that all your problems are being taken care of. My life has been like a roller-coaster ride for me that I have always enjoyed and keenly looking forward for more adventures. I have a loving family and many friends that have contributed in making life beautiful. When I was around 14 due to sudden death of my father we faced cash crunch, since we belonged to financially weak background, we (me and my brother) were facing difficulties in pursuing our education. I always have been a school topper and enjoyed learning new things, I started giving tuitions classes to my juniors since the time I was in 9th std. I felt intellectually satisfied and my ego made me felt me superior to others and I can proudly say that since than I have funded my education myself. Also thanks to merit scholarship that my school gave me as a discount in fee, I have never looked back and brought laurels to my school. I have been topper in class XII also and made my teachers proud by winning various debate and quiz competition while simultaneously being always active in sports and cultural activities. The mantra has always been same to me, do your best, know your values and leave the rest to the almighty. I pursued under graduation from MNNIT Allahabad and am pursuing post-graduation from IIM Trichy, now I am looking for more challenges to convert them into opportunities.
