When I look back to the days, the brand has actually swayed me with its values so far, a lot of instances pop out in my mind.Since my senior secondary school days,I have always been fascinated by fashion and this fashion retail store ‘Pantaloons’ has always quenched my thirst for trendy outfits and catered to all my fashion needs.In fact people ask me the secret behind my choice of clothes and I end up marketing the ABG by ‘Word Of Mouth’ and that’s ABG! It lets the people talk about it rather than it advertising.Doesn’t this sound splendid ?
Later did I knew that, my Dad,being a Civil Engineer always prescribed this particular brand of cement ‘UltraTech’,wherein I discovered that ABG has not only influenced me but also my family and likewise countlessly many!All this says is about its brand value and the people’s loyalty to them and its legacy.
Not only ABG expaned its business but also aided in many social and economic development activities by building a better, sustainable way of life for the weaker sections of the society and raising the country's human development index.Their social activities inculcated a lot of values in me,significantly changing me personally,enforcing me to actively participate in social activities to enhance lives ,when I was working in an IT firm. Their activites notably include mid-day meals,skill training,medical camps and so on.How laudable that is !
ABG’s whopping growth tremendously inspired me to achieve something really commendable in my life and wherein I started figuring out my area of interest.During my secondary schooling, it lied in the field of medicine, in response to the impact ABG has created by its social enhancements to uplift human lives.So I went on to study my senior secondary education in a school that totally focused on MBBS entrance exam coaching for exams like AIPMT,AIIMS,JIPMER for solid 1.5 years.But fortune didn’t favor me and I had to opt for engineering and completed it with a decent placement offer from one of the biggest IT firms.
During the final phase of engineering,I realized that engineering was not a cup of tea for me and when analysed what hit me so much,I knew it was my interests to be a manager in a top notch company like ABG,whose business values really striked me that I yearned to work for it.It all started from here,that I aspired to be in one of the IIMs of India and to pursue a management course.So,I started preparing for CAT and unfortunately I couldn’t crack it in my first attempt.I didn’t lose hope as its said “Failures are the stepping stones to SUCCESS”,I attempted once again with a better preparation than before and Yeah!, I made it to IIM Ranchi,now proud being an IIM Ranchi Crow, that aims at imbibing managerial and ethical virtues.
In conclusion ABG’s contribution in my life resides not only in my driving force to achieve this honorable place inside an IIM but also personally reshaping me to a greater extent that made me achieve this.
