It was 7th january 2019 CAT result was already out the wave of joy was all around me. Congratulations messages were all around my Whatsapp and phone calls. But deep inside me I was knowing that job is still remain unfinished. The dream of getting inside a big B school is still far from reality. Of course my yearlong toil has resulted into a fruitful tree but still it has to be harvested at the right time. So next big hurdle was rigorous interview process through which every MBA aspirant has to go. And with my experience I was knowing that it was first 60 to 90 seconds where you have to make a mark in the interviewer’s mind in any interview after that panel just tries to justify their perception. So just like any other aspirant I was out to buy new corporate formals for myself which can bring the best out of me. I ended up at a Peter England showroom in Acropolis mall of Kolkata (where I was working at that time), and bought one of the finest suit, nicely fitted and having one of the finest fabric. The day of interviews came and what I found interesting is that most of the candidates weren’t feeling comfortable in suits and of course it is adding extra pressure and frustrations to them, I on the other hand was very much comfortable in my attire. I was confident and everything went smoothly for me. Results came and I was there in many of the final list of top B school selected candidates.

Later on one fine evening I was going through one article by Molly St. Louis on Inc.com and got to know that How the Clothes You Wear Actually Change the Way You Perform and got to know that how important role my choice of clothing has played in my performance on the day of interviews. So it was Aditya Birla group surely owed a token of thanks from me. At this moment suddenly a wave a thoughts went through me and that moment I realized it is not the first time when Aditya Birla group has made a prominent impact in my life. It was there all around me holding my hands from shadows right from my childhood days till today. Being raised in a farmer family Birla Shaktiman is well versed known name for me and I can assure you that if you go and just say aloud the name Birla Shaktiman in any farmers family in Bihar and even a child of 3 years would complete your sentence saying “Bowayi se katayi tak” which clearly states the impact of this brand in every farmers family. Further I still remember the days when going to school was a big task for me as I use to travel almost 23 km from my home daily. But having fresh and delicious lunch in my breaks would made wash away all the tiredness of the daily my daily journey and boring classes. As they used to say Food cooked with love deserves much more than just ordinary wrap and my mother make it true by wrapping my lunch in FreshWrapp which has an of advantage over other ordinary foils keeps your food fresh, healthy and yummy. At later stage of my life when I moved to Ranchi for my higher secondary studies and college I use to be among those who submit their assignments way ahead of the deadlines and guess who use to play an important role in this. It was IIN(idea internet network) and it’s advertisement about the drone and Idea network was a true inspiration for many young students.

So as I said Aditya Birla Group was holding my hands from shadows throughout my life journey and this is the first time I have an opportunity to thank them, So Thankyou Aditya Birla Group for changing not only my life but of millions other. This is how Aditya Birla group has made an impact in my life!!! This is my side of story!!! What is yours????

How I overcame challenges to achieve my ambitions in life so far?

At one stage of my life I was excelling in all fields of my life. Life was nothing more than a merry go round for me. I used to think I was granted with Midas touch and in division of life I was on top. Then I moved out from my home for my higher secondary studies. Like every other person I get in touch with many new faces, people, places, perspective and what not. Someone correctly said darker forces are more attractive that the good ones. I get into some wrong habits. Smoking and drinking which I started for thrill is one of the regular habit for me now. The student who has never even liked the idea of lagging behind in any field of life has started spending nights after nights in drinking. Amidst of this one year passed and result of 11th came and forget about any rank I just managed to pass the exams and that too because of my strong foundation. But this was also not enough to change my perception of life. The real champion within me subdued and slept in the deepest corner somewhere inside me. But on 12th march 2011 a lightning struck me, not from the clouds but from a phone call from my home. My dearest grandfather was no more in this world. He was there for me always even when my father or mother use to scold me he was always there for my rescue. But he was no more. I was not ready to accept this fact. I could feel there was lump in my throat I wanted to sit and cry then and there but I couldn’t I have to see him, touch him for one more time, the last time. I took the next train to my home. I reached home, tears were rolling down from my eyes. All the rituals ended. When I was coming back my father told me one thing that changed everything. I came back. But I was not the same person anymore. Of course I won’t be able to change my last one year but I made sure that I would be giving more than cent percent of myself in anything and everything I did. And one more thing I also did that not only I changed my lifestyle but I also made sure that my friends also would take their life seriously and helped them in their studies (I want to mention that two of them are working in one of the fortune 500 company now.). Things changed though slowly for betterment. And now I am in one of the esteemed B school of India. And yes you would be wondering what my father told me that day. He told me that the day I was born my grandfather touched my feet and said he is the one who will take our family name to all over the world. He further said that my Grandfather believed in me for some reason, so I should believe in myself and should leave no stone unturned to turn my Grandfather’s dream and belief in reality. It was my Grandfather belief that changed my life and I managed to climb the ladders from darkness to success. So only thing which I would like to tell you that believe in yourself because whoever you are wherever you are there is surely someone out there who has trust, believe in you. And I am sure you do not want to turn that down. So work hard, achieve what you are meant to achieve so that at later stage of life you do not regret or think of having a time machine to warn your younger past. This is my story. And I am pretty sure that everyone has his/her own.!!!
