WHY ADITYA BIRLA GROUP IS BIG IN MY LIFE

Aditya Birla Group has a great significance in my life, whether it is on regular basis or occasional basis. The instance where I can relate myself to the brand is in three categories – fashion , cement and telecom. I am a regular customer of some popular fashion brands like Louis Phillippe, Van Heusen, Peter England and Allen Solly. These are the brands which resonate with my personality and choice. These are the brands which my parents love too because of the trust and the status they symbolize in the society. They have a pretty good distribution channel as they can be seen in tier II cities as well. The next brand is UltraTech Cement. Being a civil engineer I have been heavily involved with each and every brand of cement I encounter and till date this brand has been most durable and reliable. While working with a multi-national construction contractor all our clients were reasonably happy with the UltraTech and we faced no difficulty while working with them. Last year, when we built our new home I recommended this cement and my father was extremely satisfied with the product. The last but not the least Vodafone Idea is a very crucial part of my life. I have been with them from past many years before the merger and they are consistently improving the services each day. I have trusted my permanent contact number with Vodafone Idea and hope to keep on enjoying the excellent services they are delivering. To imagine my life without ABG would be a very critical decision as I would be left without communication, the way I carry myself and of course the infrastructure the country is depending upon. I hope to see its venture into other categories as well.

How Have I Made An Impact
It all started when I was working with multi-national contractor on a office cum commercial building project in a tier I city in India. We used to outsource 30% of the work and the rest we took on ourselves. The work we executed had labors coming over from a very under developed areas of the country which is struck by communal violence and burdened with poverty. So to work with those people and understanding their thought process as well as language was a very challenging task. On the day of a major concrete pouring there was an outburst by those people as they were denied a short break by supervisor of the company. In that situation, every activity stopped and company was incurring a loss of 30k per hour because of workability limits of concrete. In this tense scenario I was called in hope of resolving the conflict. I understood the concerns of labors, understood where their roots are, and proposed a solution keeping in mind their thought process and what is the best for the company. So at that time the approach which I employed was keeping in mind those labors even though they were at the bottom of the employee hierarchy and traditionally they were either scolded or crushed aside to get the work done. But the company has very well understood my humanitarian approach and ever since then, are teaching its engineers and managers to treat each and every individual with respect because we never know when they would play a critical part in our lives.
