PART-A: How ABG is big in my life:

A 15-year-old boy is getting his 1st ever set of formal clothes for a teacher’s day celebration at school. The school has a long-lasting tradition that 10th standard students have to teach and manage the normal school operations on teacher’s day while the seniors are busy entertaining the teachers.

Our kid longs for a formal suit on the occasion and goes to a Van Huesen outlet with his parents. The kid’s eyes lit up seeing a subtle blue suit. Though the price tag reflects a cost, quiet above the pre-assigned budget, but teary eyes and puppy face has never failed him in front of his dad. But, it wasn’t only the dad he had to persuade, accompanying him was his mother too, who blatantly refused for the product. Dejected, he returned home thinking how his parents never loved him, how all his friends would be wearing new clothes while he will be wearing his fathers used one.

The day arrived, the kid wearing a yellow Peter England Shirt belonging to the father. Though, the shirt being a bit loose, the son was looking good. The teacher’s day was a hit, but that Van Huesen suit never faded from the memory of the kid.

Time moved, the kid reached college and got an on-campus placement in a reputed firm with good reimbursement. The 1st salary received was spend on gifts for everyone- an IDEA cellular phone for sister, gifts for parents and kins, but a part of salary was kept to purchase that suit he longed for 6 years ago. Reaching home, he went to the same outlet in search of the suit. Though the exact same suit wasn’t there, he found a similar one near the selves. Excited, he was about to try the one when he happened to look upon the cost, which again exceeds the finances booked for the suit. He quietly kept the suit back and came out of the shop. This time he was not sad but contented. Oh, wasn’t he wearing the same perfectly fitting Peter England’s yellow shirt belonging to his father?

Aditya Birla Group is something that isn’t just seen but felt in the heart of the people. From improving the quality of life of people to taking care of the middle-class masses, its presence is deeply rooted in everyone’s life and can be felt everywhere.

PART-B: The overcome challenges faced in life to achieve ambitions:

When I joined my firm in July 2016 as a Management trainee, I was responsible for a variety of office tasks and rarely have to visit a site or an outdoor facility.

Being in a client forte, I had to deal with personnel older than me. Managing them and getting productive results was quite a challenging job for me. Initially, I had problems dealing with them with complete frankness under the territory of workplace ethics and politeness. However, over the time I accustomed myself with variables involved in this workforce management.

In 2017, due to unforeseen circumstances, the firm was not in a very good position in the marketplace. Colleagues started to shift to a better career prospective resulting in dwindling the strength of the workforce with the excess workload eventually getting distributed to the persistent employees. I was originally trained for design and quality procedures, but I was directed by the higher authority to take over the responsibility of on-site execution of construction projects. I managed an extended period of night shifts at the site, trying not to give up. In addition to uncommon hours of work period, it was quite a challenging task to manage a workforce of construction laborers.

As I look back, I realize that challenges and adversities are inevitable. What really matters is my stubbornness to not give up and persist. The most valuable lesson I have learned is that nothing in life must be feared. It is only to be understood inside out so that I can devise an effective approach to tackle it.
