Various Initiatives have been implemented by ABG that have influenced my life. These initiatives include providing primary health care, facilitating medical camps for the disabled , spreading awareness about AIDS by various campaigns . These processed have made me socially aware about the problems existing in our society and give your best to help the ones suffering from this problem. It is because society forms an integral part of ones life and its better to give your best to the one that is throughout your entire life.
Also in Times of Need the complex climate and varied geological conditions result in a multitude of natural hazards. Floods, droughts, earthquakes, and cyclones cause the greatest economic losses and shock to the sociological systems. During natural disasters, ABG has worked to rebuild life-sustaining systems in parts of Tamilnadu, Gujarat and Maharashtra.
Thus these are the instances where ABG has fascinated me and made it one of a dream company to work for and strive to achieve its goals and mission. In the pursuit of these , I engageg myself with various NGO’s and societies like Enactus that shaped my personality and transformed my thinking, thereby proudly making me a better human being. I hope this message reaches louder to all the generations and even the companies so that human lives and the environment around us is valued. At the end
Thanks ABG for a lovely transformation.
Part B
My major challenge that I faced in my life was when I became the coordinator of ENACTUS - A society that works for upliftment of socially and economically backward people through entrepreneurial projects. The model that I picked was for the upliftment of Afghan Women . These women specialised in handmade crochet products such as Necklaces , earrings etc . However due to the competition by the technology and industry, they were not able to sell their products . So they shifted from Afghanistan to Malviya Nagar in Delhi . I with my team took up the challenge of uplifting them by marketing their produce. I did a market research of the areas In delhi and markets where the products were easily able to be sold. Secondly the budget was to be decided as we thought of setting up stalls in various areas . After research, the areas we targeted were Kamla Nagar Market in North Delhi and the girls colleges in Delhi University. We were lucky enough to grab a good sale in a span of 2 weeks. The whole amount was handed over to these women which made them fulfil their basic necessities of life and gave them a stage to market their products. Being socially reliable and focused helps you to achieve greater objectives for the society and thus a better human being.
