PART A
Once there was a young 28 year old man a Chartered Accountant who had to take upon responsibility of his business after the demise of his father. He not only took over as Chairman but guided his group to become one of the biggest conglomerates of India. The man is Kumar Mangalam Birla Chairman of the Aditya Birla Group.
Aditya Birla Group stands for courage, trust, loyalty and someone you can depend upon.It is one of the few groups that is associated to our life on a daily basis. In my life from the clothes I wear to the building I live in and the car I travel in to the food I have everywhere there is an impact of the Aditya Birla Group. The Group stands by us from the good times to the most difficult times in our lives.
It is a part of every memory I cherish as the first suit that I bought for my school farewell was a black Van Heusen suit which I still have. They provide us the latest trendy clothes from Polos to Suits.Whatever be the occasion apparels from Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited is my one stop destination. At night I am able to sleep well and travel without fear as I know that UltraTech cement stands strong by my side.Everyday at lunch when I open my tiffin box Freshwrapp keeps it warm as if the food was prepared just now.The group is there whenever I need it as recently I was caught up in a lift alone so the Vodafone network helped me to reach out to people and helped me get out of this situation.
My association with ABG has grown from a more formal customer seller relationship to loyalty. As ABG always remember the important days in our life whether it be birthdays or anniversaries and gifts us with loyalty points which adds more happiness to our day.
ABG is touching millions of lives through it's CSR initiatives. When you walk by a street and notice a smile on a small child's face there is a high probability that it is because of the ABG group as they have immunized 70 million children against Polio, they operate 56 schools for over 46500 school children and provide midday meal to 63000 children in 268 schools. At last I want to conclude by saying that ABG is like our saviour for the day.It is always there by our side when in need.
PART B
Everybody has difficulties in their lives and my life is no different. The thing which I do differently is look at each difficulty as an opportunity in life which would help me to grow more as a person and learn something from every mistake I do.So one of the incidents was back in November 2012 it was Diwali and me and my family were elated with joy.We were lighting diyas, sweets very ready to be served, crackers bursting everywhere like a typical Indian Diwali night but at night around 8:30pm I saw my mother lying on the bed and asking for help. When I checked on her I saw that she was not able to get up and stand as every time she tried doing so she was hit by a vertigo.
So when we consulted a doctor he told that my mother is suffering from positional vertigo. He also mentioned that it would take time to be cured and no medicine could cure it.So it continued for a very long time my mother was bed ridden for almost 2 years.During this time my board exams were around the corner and I has to prepare well for it.So my typical days during Spring of 2013 was i would wake up make tea for my parents, go to study and then help my mother in daily chores. There were times when I was hopeless that nothing will be right again but I used to keep my composure and just focus on putting in the work during whatever little time I used to get.At the end I performed well in both the board exams and JEE Mains exam.I joined a college which was near to my home so that I can come home on weekend and take care of my mother. After 2 years of struggle the condition started improving and gradually everything was back to normal. So what I learnt during this time was that if you learn to go through the bad times with a smile on your face the time will end sooner and at the end will make you even stronger.
