PART A :
Being born and brought up in India, "ADITYA BIRLA GROUP" has truly had a BIG influence all throughout my life. Their presence is felt in almost every sector they have ventured into. Be it banking or finance or cement or textiles, ABG has truly shown the world what leadership looks like. As a budding manager, I might have not gotten an opportunity to experience ABG's stature in its most genuine sense yet inside the restricted degree, I have been so thankful to ABG for different reasons on numerous events.
If there is one area where I would want to underline the huge nearness of ABG in my life, it must be Fashion and Apparel. Right from my adolescence through my teens till date, I have consistently been very intrigued by style, which is exactly the sector where ABG has been a top player for so many years now. Right from significant individual brands like Van Heusen and Allen Solly to multi-branded outlets such as Pantaloons and Planet Fashion, time and again I have been visiting these showrooms to continually keep purchasing the very beautifully designed clothes with staggering quality at a very affordable price. So much so, that I am actually wearing an Allen Solly as I write this life experience with ABG. I cannot emphasize enough on how joyful I have been, wearing apparels from different brands of ABG. What we wear has a lot to do with how we appear and how we appear has a lot to do with how we feel. Along these lines, I must say, every time I have worn an ABG apparel, it has given me the confidence to go out in the world and fearlessly express my opinion and live up to my potential. It is the same fearlessness has made me get into one of the premier B schools of our country and now it is shaping my career, exactly how I want it. Come to think of it, indirectly, ABG has been such a big presence in my life that it has even helped shape my career and be the best version of myself.
With the kind of passion I have for clothing, and how I have been such a huge admirer of ABG's brands, I can go on and on about it. But I hope you get the point. I am very grateful to ABG and shall always be.
PART B :
As a human, we are all bound to face challenges and tough situations at different junctures of our life. But the toughest part is not just overcoming the challenge or such tough times, it is to learn from the mistakes and the kind of mentality that lead to those problems and to never repeat them. Home is a very comforting sweet place for all of us and I am no exception to it. I absolutely love staying at home and spending time with my family. Maybe, there is no better feeling than the kind of inclusiveness I get when I am home. So, on the flip side to it, staying away from my parents and loved ones is the biggest challenge for me. I have been away from home and staying in hostels since I was 15 and even now, I stay in a hostel, missing my parents and home every single day. Initially, I used to think a lot about it and felt so often to opt for an easier way and in the process get back home. But gradually and eventually, I understood how and why, at various phases of my life, it was important to stay away and study and learn, to become a better professional, to become a better individual. The kind of mentality and thought process I have had to incorporate to understand and be perfectly okay with this is what I consider the biggest challenge I have overcome so far. As the cliched saying goes, WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH, THE TOUGH GET GOING - many such quotes and motivational lines have kept me going and hopefully, I do get to go a long way from where I am now.
