Why Aditya Birla Group Is Big In Your Life:
Being an Architect from the profession, I always look for brands I can trust on, something that goes with currents trends/fashion and there ABG comes into the picture. I am Pratiksha Lingayat, an Architect who graduated from NIT Raipur and lived on a residential campus for my graduation. After 12th living in a hostel was hectic for me in the initial days, I was not able to manage my time and was always in a hurry for bathing, sleeping, eating clubbing everything with other group activities like assignments, projects, and events. Being a 19 at that time, the biggest confusion for me was, “What should I wear today?” and the answer was, “I have nothing to wear”. I know it sounds funny, but that’s the biggest decision a girl has to make. So, after 2 weeks of hectic schedule when I finally got some time form classes, I only got 3 hrs for shopping for my fresher’s and my choice was the only brand I trusted right from my childhood was Pantaloons. The fittings, trends, fashion, and elegance clubbed in one dress. My right choice helped me in winning Miss Fresher’s and later Miss Campus's title. Another incident I remember was during my workdays when I got placed as a Junior Architect in the dream city Mumbai. Being from a very small town, somewhere near Nagpur, I was excited to explore the fashion-forward culture of India’s fashion capital. But my 9-7 shift hardly gave me any time to do so. On the other hand, it was difficult for me to choose clothes for even the workplace. It was a task for me to be presentable in workwear and yet carry the unique fashion taste of mine. That’s when one of my friends suggested me about the Allen Solly women collection of workwear. When I visited the near store in R city mall at Ghatkopar, I became loyal to that brand right from that day. It easily catered to all my preferences and choices. I could also mix and match their elegant collection of accessories and footwear collection to make an impression on others in a work environment. As they say, being unique helps u to get noticed. ABG has always helped me to stand outside the crowd and was a partner in my success. Whether it be my college fest, client meetings or IIM interviews this brand was loyal to me and gained my loyalty as well. Even in emergencies like birthdays and celebrations, this brand and their stores provided me and my family members a greater level of satisfaction. Recently we celebrated my Father’s and brother’s birthday. The real dilemma for me was to decide what I should gift them. As they also follow fashion trends very strictly, it was tedious for me to collect knowledge on on-going trends and choose the right product for both of them. One of my office friends suggested to me Louis Philippe and Peter England. The collection was amazing and also the store manager and staff helped me in choosing the perfect fit for both my father and brother according to their personality. I always find solutions to my problems with the help of ABG and they will always be my first choice.
How Have You Made An Impact :
At a very early age in my life, I got to know that I have to carve my path from every stone life throws at me. I decided to join IIT since 8th, but because of family conditions my father could afford only one my brother’s coaching, so I decided to study on my own. I was fortunate to get good teachers at K V, who helped me in studies initially. When I was in 10th , my father forced me to join a diploma course so that post 3 years of diploma he can arrange for my wedding. But my dream of success was not allowing me to settle for a diploma. I bagged scholarship post 10th and continued my studies in science CS+PCM at K V. I cleared my JEE in one go and got admission at NIT Raipur. I wanted to apply for top ranking institutes, but as my father wanted me to be around, so I went for this institute, which happened to be one of the best decisions of my life. Being a studies kid, I also developed various hobbies and skills under the overall development provided by my school. I enjoyed and participated in debates, cultural, and also various sports like handball, basketball, cricket, hockey etc. I also developed myself into an Artist, which helped to discover my interest in Architecture. Clubbing with other activities, I also developed leadership qualities and was House Captain in my +2. Carrying all my interest to my college life, I kept on achieving success. My father was overwhelmed when I graduated with Honours in Architecture and bagged PPO as well as best placements from campus. The Present is way different from what he initially decided for me. Today, he is proud of me and allows me to make my own decisions. His constant support and trust in me helped me achieve a great deal in life. Being from a princess for her father, I have grown into a confident woman with an entrepreneur spirit in me. A woman who thinks that she can be a small driving force in the economy and who wants to make a difference.
