Aditya Birla Group is a conglomerate that is serving the nation for the last 162 years . The verticals in which ABG operates range from non ferrous metals , cement, carbon black, textile , telecom and finacial services etc.
All these brands have positively impacted my life in one way or the other . For example, I use the simcard of vodafone , the company in which idea merged. When my parents wanted to build our dream home ,I distinctly remember the sacks of cement to be used in the construction and what I recall is the brand written on the dusted bags – ULTRATECH.
Birla Carbon is the leading producer of black carbon additives in the world. The carbon black keeps the tires of my bike and car safe by improving its wear characteristics and heat-dissipation capabilities.
The ABG products that i like the most have to be from its fashion vertical. Almost 90 percent of my clothes are of Allen Solly and Peter England .The greatest things about ABG fashion brands is that they are favourite for every age group , be it for adults, teenagers or children.
The brand image of ABG group can be estimated from the fact that when someone dreams to become successful overnight, he or she is reminded that u can not become a birla or something like that overnight. This is true as well because to achieve this trust, brands must be reliable, responsible, and should deliver on their promises and ABG has been doing it for as long as 162 years now.
How you overcame challenges in life?
When I was 13 years old, I was selected to play under 14 cricket for my state . One day we found out that M.S. Dhoni was coming to mentor us and we had to greet him. So , when he came ,we had to stand in a queue and wait for our turn to shake hands with him . As, I was meeting him for the first time, the fourteen year old me was super excited and nervous as well. Moreover when everyone of our team was meeting him, he was asking us our name and hometown respectively .So I was continuously rehearsing what I had to say in that sequence only, that is my name first and then my hometown. unfortunately when my turn to greet him came ,he asked my hometown first and then my name and I ,in turn, told my name first and and then my hometown because I had rehearsed it like that. So ,everybody started laughing but the great man soon realized that I was embarrassed. So M.S Dhoni started pampering me and told me that he was nervous like me as well when he had met his idol Sachin Tendulkar. That day I realized that everybody gets nervous and we should only try to give our 100% and not worry about results. After this meeting I had a match , where I performed exceptionally well and was adjudged the man of the match as well. I realized that I could perform so well because I was not stressed after the life lesson I got from M.S DHONI .From that day onwards , I realized that problems are same for everyone ,its just that great man don’t get stressed about it and rather try to find solution rather .I have apllied this theory many times in my life and have been very successful.
