Kumar Mangalam Birla is someone who I have always admired. I read one of his quotes in my seventh class i.e., "Well, I think the golden rule I can think of is the fact that you must follow your passion and do something that's close to your heart. And I think that that's very important, well, to be successful and to be happy." He is someone who I have great respect for. Being a teenager, I endorsed the creative advertisements of IDEA cellular network. "An Idea can change your life" is one of the best value proposition that I have ever seen. Knowingly or unknowingly, Aditya Birla group is part of my life since childhood. Coming from a rural area I have witnessed the spread of Ultratech cement brand in the corners of the country. I'm mostly inclined to the quality product of in-house apparel brands such as Allen Solly, Van Heusen, Peter England. With its vast network, Aditya Birla Group is enlightning and empowering millions of lives every single day. The most excited part is that the company also planning to enter payments bank business. Also my friend is benefited from the scholarship offered by the Aditya Birla Group whereas there is no binding to join the Group after the completion of his course. The Corporate Social Responsibility of Aditya Birla Group has created an impact by providing sustainable way of life for the weaker sections of society. These kind of activities from the Aditya Birla Group inspires people like me to contribute more to the society.
"Sanapala Mohan Vamsi" is not just a name, it's a brand. Yes, this is how I feel about myself. I came from a village called Mettakkivalasa which is one of the socially and educationally backward villages of Srikakulam district, Andhra Pradesh. My mother is a house wife and my father is working as a contract lecturer at government junior college, Amadalavalasa. In fact, he is the one who inspired me to go out to Visakhapatnam to continue my high school and intermediate studies. Due to my best performance in the intermediate board exams I got scholarship from then government of united Andhra Pradesh to continue my professional studies. In 2017, I completed my Btech in Mechanical Engineering from Andhra University College of Engineering(A). Here comes my unique decision of my life i.e., a Btech graduate from one of the oldest and prestigious colleges' of the country having a placement offer at hand from L&T Limited wanted to go for a different career path. I have almost fully accepted the importance of knowing and believing in things that can be backed by scientific and logical evidence. But, can everything be logically proven? Is there no place for belief in my life? Or am I simply delusional in thinking that belief has replaced my logic fully? Finally, with these haunting thoughts I started my career as Recruiter at Molveno Consulting Pvt. Ltd. How can a person perform well in his/her job without having any core expertise and skills pertain to that domain. This phase of my life taught me to believe in things which are crazy enough to take unique decisions. MBA is just a process in the path that I'm heading to. I'm excited to absorb the fact that I'm also a part of IIM Ranchi family. Three weeks here at IIM Ranchi is one of the best phases of my life which makes me believe that life at IIM Ranchi will help me to turn the raw material (present me) to a valuable product (future me).
