There have been several memorable inclusions of ABG in my personal life. My father's trust towards UltraTech among the existing brands while building his dream house is the most emotional part by which ABG touched my life, my first personal contact no. that resembled my identity; when those days BSNL SIM's were the first option of reliability & people weren't too sure to go for private operators, I went with IDEA and since then I never regretted my decision, the personal gift on my brother's wedding to him from my side from Van Heusen and the list goes long if I analyze.

Retailing in India is receiving global recognition and attention and this emerging market is witnessing a significant change in its growth and investment pattern.

The industry is buoyant about growth and the early starters are in expansion mood. There is increased sophistication in the shopping pattern of consumers, their needs and demands which has resulted in big retail chains coming up in most metros; mini-metros and towns being the next target. Domestic Corporate behemoths like Aditya Birla Group is one of the first multinational corporations in India; which has developed radically since it's birth till date, by bringing foreign brands to India and making it feasible by reach to common hands and by the expansion of local industries and it's promotion to help the inner economy. With its renowned diversified approach in different sectors, this industrial giant has 'morestore' under its giant umbrella invested towards the retailing sector, 'IDEA, VODAFONE' towards TeleCommunication Sector, 'UltraTech' towards Infrastructure sector adding with Van Heusen, Allen Solly, Peter England and Louis Philippe in Fashion. Companies these days rely on acquisition too. Gone are those days when companies tried to compete with each other for a long run, but now the upper one in the hierarchy acquires the lower one which benefits both by giving scalability to the former and recognition to the latter, which has been a prime strategy for ABG keeping itself outgrowing in the race of paramount title. It operates a multi-brand fashion retail chain Pantaloons which it acquired from Future Group. Also acquired exclusive online and offline rights to American fast fashion retailer Forever 21 in India.

 In conclusion, there isn't a denying of the fact that ABG has so deeply enrooted itself among our lives, especially the middle-class, that our trust, our feelings go blindly towards it. #ABGLP
