I used to stay in a paying guest accommodation which was not fully operational but had few rooms. Since it was under construction so every time when I went in and out, I used to encounter bags of Ultratech cement. Little did I realised that it was a foundation for my abode.
The next thing in the list of needs that everyone has is clothes. Since I was working in a renowned IT firm, so one thing that was strictly followed out there was dress clothes. There were also business meets where the dress code was even more stringent. Getting a job straight out of college, I had limited monetary assets with me and asking for money from parents after getting a job, seemed so out of place. Peter England became a saviour. With premium quality pocket-friendly attires, it boosted my confidence whenever I caressed it on my body. Days of smart casuals were looked after by Pantaloons. The house of fashion as they call it.
Often it happened that I had to reach office early morning and work at a stretch without any gap, sometimes not getting a chance to get up and it. But it was very hard to get going at late nights without refuelling the food tank. But since calls happened then, so it was not possible to get up and bring food. Also, food carried on a tiffin box early morning used to get stale by then. So, what came to the rescue? A discovery called the “Freshwrapp”, which kept the food in mint condition till as long as one can imagine. A lot such things happened, which came under a common name Aditya Birla Group.
Part B: How I overcame challenges to achieve my ambitions in life so far:
After graduation and getting a job, I thought life was sorted out, no need to study more. But as I progressed in my work life, I felt the need to broaden my horizon, go above my role, in the broader aspect of learning. Something that I found would aid me in this venture in an MBA. So, I started preparing for my exams and wrote all the premium exams related to MBA in the first year. I did not make the cut off for the top 20 colleges. So, I decided to prepare one more time.
Things time I had my basics right and kind of confident. But something happened just a few months before I wrote my exam. I was involved in a terrible car accident.
Very people come out of that alive and those who do, strive for a normal life. I was fighting with my life at the hospital. My critical condition, as well as the escalating bills, was putting mountainous pressure on my close ones. But every cloud has a silver lining. In 2 weeks, I was limping but walking. It imbibed a sense of confidence in my people that I might get back to my normal life. Within 2 months, I joined my office and, in a year, I was back playing my favourite sports. I wrote the MBA exams that year and converted a few top 20 colleges. But I got this confidence that if I could get out alive and get back on my feet from that situation, I can do better. So, I wrote the MBA exam for one last time and got selected in XIMB, somewhere I wanted to join from a long time, and I am holding out since then.
I didn’t mention who paid my medical bills. It is because I was relieved out of such headache since Aditya Birla Health Insurance had me covered.
