Part A:
Aditya Birla Group (ABG) has been augmenting our lives for about a century starting from a tiny petal of wheat plant to a concrete roof of our dream homes, making a solid path towards a stronger and a better nation. Being a premier business conglomerate, ABG endeavours to touch and fulfil all the aspects of our lifestyle, which includes premium clothing, quality housing, efficient communication, economic retail, leading elite class institutes and much more.
So how can I be left untouched, be it a Vodafone Idea network to stay connected with my near and dear ones, MORE Mega Store 'The one stop solution' to all my grocery needs, Pantaloons - my fashion junction or the house made up of the Ultra Tech Cement where I feel safe and relaxed after a long hectic day, I think ABG products have been an integral part of my everyday life.
“If your first instinct is to run away from failures, then perhaps you are doing it the wrong way”, quoted well by Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla, which is indeed a BIG mantra for every dreamer to implement and re-furnish the approach towards their failures. The story of the leaders of Aditya Birla Group itself is a rich subject to study and learn the depth of business strategies and entrepreneurship, which inspires us with the passion and commitment behind the journey from the first thread of a cotton to the achievement of a ‘2 garments per second’ sales target. I am a dreamer too, and have been learning many things from ABG and its strategies, to become a successful entrepreneur one day.
A brave initiative by ABG by promoting and investing in Electric Vehicle industry could be a greener and cleaner way towards saving our mother planet; Hindalco foil passing the EV batteries standards, is one such BIG step towards the revolution of EV industry. This in a long run can lead to shape the minds of people towards an Eco-friendly environment.
PART B:
Throughout our lives we achieve many things both in our personal and professional lives. I believe the level of satisfaction that we derive from our accomplishments defines its actual sense. I do have such an accomplishment that I cherish the most. I feel the bigger the challenge is, the greater is the learning and the satisfaction we get after accomplishing it. Every challenge that we face has its own set of lessons and learning. But some impact our individualism to another level and make us our better selves. Such a situation came to me when my best friend at college went into depression and committed a failed suicide attempt. Though saved by God's grace, she ended up having multiple fractures and stayed in ICU for two months. Since her parents were not very educated, I was the one attendant with major responsibilities of her health. That was the time when I had my semesters and placements going on. During that crucial period of mine, it was a continuous run for me between college and hospital, keeping minute check on her condition. Spending hours at hospital with my books and trying to steal every second of time for my studies taught me to value time and to manage it in the best possible way.The decision to stand by my friend, keeping my priorities on back foot helped me grow to a more selfless, empathetic and responsible version of myself. I managed with my exams and placements which was a big accomplishment for me but the biggest happiness was seeing her stand again on her feet, and this feeling was eternal and priceless.
