Why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life?
As Michael LeBeouff once said, “A satisfied customer is the best business strategy of all”. Contemplating that Aditya Birla Group has bolstered its dominion on both Indian as well as international markets. With the piecemeal rise of its brand, Aditya Birla has etched a powerful and prolific impact on the mindset of today’s customers. By expanding its brand in a diverse array of verticals it has cemented a firm legacy.
Whether it’s a choice of product, price or quality, Aditya Birla has always been a part of a customer’s preference. Leading from fashion apparel such as Allen Solly, Van Huesen, Louis Philippe and Peter England to construction companies like Hindalco and Ultratech cement or even mobile telephony company like Idea, there hasn’t been an industry where Aditya Birla has not tried to widen its business and become successful. And its gradual success in these markets within time is what has made it the third-largest Indian private sector conglomerate.
Considering a personal point of view, the IDEA has been my first and primary sim provider since the day I got my first phone. Its global network coverage and out of the box marketing strategies has always made it stand at the topmost position in the telecom industry. The intelligent use of various campaigns at an appropriate point with proper knowledge of the audience has acted as a huge asset for its brand development.
The engagement of Aditya Birla in different CSR activities breaks the conventional boundaries in which a business company operates. Its collaboration with various agencies has helped it to spread its name to various pockets of society. Their continuous contribution to various sectors of our society generates a huge chunk of employment opportunities. So, from a social point of view, it has impacted the lives of millions through its different contributions.
Be it telecom or fashion or anything, the presence of Aditya Birla from my life can’t go unnoticed. Its values and dedication act as a benchmark for something to admire and look up to as a consumer and I would love to remain as a frequent consumer for this brand.
How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far.
My life has been through a lot of ups and downs ranging from moments of laughter and fun to frustration and disappointment. But within all those emotions I grew up gathering a lot of memories. Well to share my experience, I had some setbacks during my life which had led me dejected and demotivated, and overcoming those were the best part of my life.
My life at school was a cheerful one, as I was able to sail through my first eight years of my life smoothly. But as I grew older, responsibilities started arriving at my footsteps. I always get along with my friends but when it comes to performing in a big stage, I had stage fright. Initially, I bottled a lot of works and projects. But one thing that did not change was my determination to apply again and again. Within the time I was able to muster up enough confidence to pitch myself in front of the whole school for the school lead boy. Even though I was not successful in my first try I didn’t give up. I keep on working for other committees and again stood for the same position the very next year and won. So, one thing I learned from that experience is that you can do anything as long as you believe in yourself.
As John F. Kennedy once said “Things do not happen. Things are made to happen.”, I have tried to keep up with that motivational quote for most of my life. Choosing a stream of engineering after my schooling led me into a different kind of world brimming with a vivid range of opportunities to grab. But, its academic rigour from the very first semester forced me into backfoot. The simultaneous working in both academic and extracurricular committees proved too much for me at first. But one thing that I had learned throughout my career is that life would throw lots of curveballs at us and we may encounter many defeats in our way but we must never give up and be defeated. It took me some time and I consulted with various seniors, who in turn helped me in completing various tasks efficiently. Their diverse experience helped me develop in learning various facets of life regarding how to manage and work effectively in an engineering college and as an individual.
Now, after completion of engineering, I believe that my journey is not yet complete and there are still a lot of things for me to learn. The perfect platform for me to achieve that is to join an MBA program which I recently did at XIMB to draw out the best version of myself.
