The unique, fresh and confidence-inspiring trends offered by the brand have struck a chord and are a part of my wardrobe.
Another key area of focus of Aditya Birla Group that has caught my interest and praise is the Corporate Social Responsibility activities that are conducted on a large scale and are reaching about 7.5 million people. Also, the various sectors that the company focuses on, is a testament to the commitment towards a better society. This is a huge achievement and it has taught me that enterprises should not only be run for profit but also for achieving the larger goal of enabling a better life for mankind in sustainable environments.

When I started preparing for my MBA entrance exams, I had faced quite a few obstacles such as balancing work and preparation, how to focus on each subject and from where to start preparation. Also, my house was 30km from my office and I used to lose a lot of time during travel. I needed more hours per day to prepare, as I had to improve in all the three sections of assessment. Also, I was neither habituated to studying late in the night nor early in the morning, because until then I used to only listen to class lectures attentively and revise daily. So adjusting to work and preparation was a challenge, as I had to cut down my sleep time, something I wasn’t able to do easily. Additionally, I had cut down my social activities such as hanging out with friends and colleagues. But steadily, by setting small targets and achieving them, I had overcome these challenges over the past year and now I am here at XIMB, living my dream. From this experience, I was able to be more productive in my work, which led to progressive results. I had also learned about time management and was able to handle multiple things simultaneously in a systematic way. This process not only taught me the skill of prioritizing tasks but also helped me to know my strengths, weaknesses, limits and how to work on them to become a better version of myself. After being through this enduring yet enriching phase of my life, today, I can confidently attribute my adaptability to the hectic life of a B-school to the timely schedules that I have followed over the course of my preparation.
