Why Aditya Birla Group is Big in my life?
The Aditya Birla Group is the third-largest Indian private conglomerate and I cannot imagine a single person of my nation whose life is not touched by this group.
The Aditya Birla Group is that support to you who is always there by your side assisting you with anything and everything you need and eventually becomes the most important part of your life without even bragging about it. In the last 162 years, the group has spread over numerous sectors and has become an integral part of every family in India. In this day and age, the Aditya Birla group has spread its wings to 35 countries and is giving 12000 employees the opportunity to soar high.
It will be my honor to be a part of an organization that has instilled good living standards in all aspects of my life and continues to serve the world even today.
In retrospect, I realize, the impact that the Aditya Birla Group has made on me. The soaring buildings and the failproof constructions for the conveyance have the Ambuja cement in them, the first sim card that I bought was of Idea, no matter how many times I enter the mall, I religiously visit Pantaloons and I must admit they are always up to date with the latest trends and quality products in both the showrooms Planet Fashion and Pantaloons. There are many other ways in which we are provided better and safer options of living like safe housing, safe tyres, options for a loan, etc.
Not just as a business but also by fulfilling the social responsibilities, the Aditya Birla group as a noble entity has instilled values in me and made humbler towards people in need and concerned for the society at large.
Aditya Birla group has become a part of my family and now I inspire to become a part of the Aditya Birla Group.
How have I made an impact? (Life Journey to IIM Ranchi)
“Every action we take impacts the lives of others around us. The question is: Are you aware of your impact?”
I am a girl who belongs to a very small town called Basti in Uttar Pradesh. All I had done in my school life was study and was never exposed to the real world of opportunities. The bubble I lived in made me feel that I was the best among all. Then I got admitted to the college for a degree in B. Tech in Ghaziabad. The vast variety of people coming from all parts of the state within and outside with all types of talent one could think of, the first thought that struck me was, “I have one nothing in my life!”
The two roads diverged in front of me. Either I choose to close in and study for the next four years, get a degree and be done with the college or make use of the plethora of opportunities that my new home was offering. I walked on to the latter and then there was no stopping. Being a people’s person, I got acquainted with a lot of people and was recognized by a handful of seniors as well.
With the identity I had built I moved forward to try each and everything that interested me. I danced in front of 800 students for the first time in my life, got selected as a volunteer for the inter-college technical fest, became a member of the basketball team of my branch and applied for a number of other activities.
Later on, in the fourth year, I decided to pursue an MBA and this time the goal was nothing less than an IIM. A small-town girl who had no clear idea about the world was high on ambitions.
Come to think of it, in all my interviews for placements and B-schools, I have only talked about my positions of responsibility as a class representative, the head of the management team, game coordinator, event coordinator and what not. I have collected so many certificates from completely different fields like basketball, event organization, workshops, paper presentations and have developed a hobby business in birthday cards and scrapbooks.
I am proud to be a part of IIM Ranchi, proud to be a CROW and all of this because I could muster up the courage to explore and try. My achievements motivate my brother, juniors and cousins and I feel worthy enough to help them with my guidance. This ‘Home away from home’ gives me another two years and a million opportunities to try and prove my caliber in anything and everything I put my hands on!
It is never too late to turn your life around. Strive hard and make your parents proud.
