In my opinion the above mentioned quote is the agenda which Aditya Birla Group has followed. From being a small cotton trader in Pilani to being one of the biggest Indian multinational conglomerate ,headquartered in Mumbai, Aditya Birla Group has done wonders with a whooping revenue of US$44.3 billon in 2018.It has made its mark in more than 35 countries. I can witness Aditya Birla Group everywhere, be it fashion , telecom services, financial services, Infrastructure etc.I think knowingly or unknowingly Aditya Birla Group has become a vital part of everyone’s life.
I have been using many products and services offered by Aditya Birla Group since long. Some of which I will love to mention.
Few months back transaction which we use to make from one bank account to another was such tedious task , as it involved many steps like adding beneficiary, fetching account details etc. But now since Aditya Birla Group has launced BHIM ABPB app transfer of money is just a click away. It has become so easy to send and receive money that I hardly carry cash now. It has totally brought a new revolution of digital transaction.
Decent dressing is what makes one look good and presentable. Aditya Birla Group has done a great job by bringing to us some of the best fashion brands like Louis Philippe, Van Heusen , Peter England and many more. It has made its mark by being at one of the top most place when it comes of lifestyle and fashion industry. The quality products which it produce has increased and as well as maintained its loyal customer base.
Moving to real estate or say infrastructure, Ultra Tech Cement has done wonders. Even if you ask a layman which cement will he or she prefer for construction of house, building etc the instant answer you get is “Obviously Ultra Tech Cement”. This shows how much customer trust the brand and how much loyal they are to this group.
Aditya Birla have worked for social upliftment of the society as well. They have performed various CSR activities which aimed at education, health of the community which are below the poverty line. They have done some remarkable job and have made life of economically weaker section a lot more easier. At last I can say it makes me feel proud that Aditya Birla is a vital part of my life.
How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far.
Since college time I was very much inclined towards coding/programming. But I was pursuing my B.tech in Electronics and Communication. So I was always skeptical about my chances of getting selected in any IT company. Tata Consultancy Services was one of the major recruiter of our college. So I made it my aim to get into TCS through college placement. As I was ECE student, nothing related to coding was taught to us.
Then I decided to make some extra efforts to learn different programming languages. I requested our Computer Science department faculties to take out some time and help me in clearing the programming concepts. After about months of study and working on different projects I was able to get a hold on core programming knowledge like C++, Python, C and SQL and also got to know nitty-gritty details of being a good coder. I completed various programming trainings online and offline. I did various certifications in C , C++ and PL\SQL which helped me boost my competency as well as gave me enough confidence to face the IT Companies interviews. With the knowledge which I gained I was able to win several competitions at college level as well as at district level.
During the placement process when Tata Consultancy Services came to our campus, I was one of the five students who got selected from Electronics and Communication branch.
This was one of the instances where my hard work and determination helped me overcome the challenges and meet my goal.
