Everyone in life face challenges; how you overcome it, changes the being of your existence and makes you an evolved person, more empathetic and confident.
My father’s life was going to be forever changed when we came to know of his kidney failure. We only heard it rarely. We could not fathom what had just happened and how we are going to overcome it initially. I knew one thing at that time, I would do anything to save his life and I am going to be there for him.
Leaving my job and supporting him and being with him, every step of the medical and legal procedures made me understand how often and how much we need to respect time. A lot of careful planning and adequate measures are necessary in a critical situation. How much motivation, support and positivity brings about enormous change in confidence I learnt every step of the way.
Now I am an even alert listener, open to new ideas. Just before my dad’s procedure I wrote CAT exam, just after dad’s procedure gave my interviews. Looking after and being with the support of family. Time is of utmost importance and it waits for none, plan and improvise accordingly. Always be ready for uncertainties and challenges and always uphold your values. Now I appreciate the finer nuances in life a lot more. There are always choices in front of us and some of them we can prioritize for later. We have to identify for ourselves. Sometimes you have to be quick on your feet. Sometimes you have to accommodate everything. So appreciate life and be a little hopeful. Keep striving for excellence. # ABGLP WOO ME
