Aditya Birla Group needs no introduction. They had started there journey in 1857 under the vision of Seth Shiv Narayan Birla, and since then they have successfully diversified into viscose staple fibre, metals, cement (largest in India), viscose filament yarn, branded apparel, carbon black, chemicals, fertilisers, insulators, financial services, telecom, BPO and IT services.

They actively contribute to the social and economic development of communities to build a better and sustainable society. 5000 medical camp, 20 hospitals and 56 schools for a 45,000+ student is a testament to this.

Aditya Birla Group is your companion in every step of your life starting with the day you were born in a hospital built using UltraTech cement. The day your father celebrated your 1st birthday wearing a Grasim suit. How can we forget the chocolates that we brought at the More store or our visits to Planet fashion and Pantaloons stores to up our style statement. It was the Freshwrapp that was keeping our food fresh in school.

When the time came for higher education, we were aiming for the BITS Pilani. In the hostel, Idea was connecting people and changing our life. When the placements came, it was Van Heusen, Allen Solly, Peter England and Louis Philippe that were giving confidence and bringing the best out of us. Aditya Birla Group has helped me evolve and grow as a person. It gave me freedom, confidence, developed my perspectives, made me more responsible and dynamic.

When I look at every challenge that I have faced in the past, it seems to be so small compared to the ones I'm facing at the moment. 10th standard is important in every student's life. In the month of June, I started to feel uneasy but I thought it might be due to heat and I will be fine after some time. 2-3 days later I was talking to my father and I suddenly fell unconscious. He took me to the hospital and it was the case of Hepatitis A and D. I was admitted to a hospital and was advised to take bed rest for 6 months. I rejoined the school at the beginning of January and all the subject studies were completed by then. So I took the help of my family and friends to cover my syllabus. In the end, I scored 9.2 CGPA out of 10.

This observation has led me to understand that our problems and challenges look way bigger and terrifying than they actually are, while we are facing them. They look much smaller and easier when we look at them from a distance. Being in the situation probably magnifies the negatives of that situation inside our minds. So it looks big and scares us. Therefore, I now apply the following technique to face challenging situations fearlessly. Creating a little distance, inside my mind, from the situation that I am in. This helps me see things beyond my fears, just as they are. Not magnified or exaggerated as my fears would project it to be.
