Currently in cement it have a brand called Ultratech cement and it is the market ruler in India, Ultratech manufactures white, grey and ready to mix cement. It has been certified as two times ‘water positive’ by global auditing agency DNV. It has strong presence in Sri Lanka, UAE, Bangladesh & Bahrain. Currently Ultratech is working in 480 villages in India to provide education, sanitation, safe drinking water and generating income opportunities for villagers. Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limted is a fashion powerhouse and includes subsidiaries like Pantaloons, Madura Fashion and Lifestyle. It includes brands like People, Louis Philippe, Peter England, Allen Solly. In retail we have More store. In Telecom sector Idea Cellular Limited is a part of Aditya Birla Group and it stands among top three telecom operators in India. ABG reflects its presence in my life because directly or indirectly I have used all of these brands. In clothes Louis Philippe and Peter England are my go to brands, in telecom 70 percent of my family member uses Idea. Pantaloons is the store where nearly every Indian have shopped. Recently Ultratech got permission from Indian Government to build a project in Andhra Pradesh and this project is environment friendly, therefore the tag line "BUILD BEAUTIFUL". Grasim Industries Limited was the flagship of Aditya Birla Group that started 10 days after the independence. The firm manufactured textiles from imported raw materials and now is a global leader in viscose staple fibre. Being a conglomerate ABG have its presence in every household in some form or the other.
The environment friendly environment that Aditya Birla Group has created, inspires me the most. The life is not easy, as we grow the going get tougher, but we also get stronger and built the ability to face the challenges we face. We can’t make our life easier but definitely less complicated. Most of our problem generates because of our undying ability to make simple things complicated. The biggest learning I had learned in my life is that keep life simple and when I implemented it, a great change was observed and that was stress levels were reduced and there was a better time management. I was able to do my work productively and due to keeping it simple the people who were angry from me because there was overlap in multiple plans were now happy. The biggest challenge that one faces is that everyone is stuck with established method of solving and no one is looking for a new method which can be the optimum one. This is where smart work comes in action. Before solving a problem I look for various methods and choose the one which is best in my opinion and to my surprise most of the times the new method is better than the previous one. The ambition is to be a better version of me than that I was yesterday. This require having learning attitude and learning from the mistakes. Making mistake is not a problem, but repeating it is a sin. I thrive towards excellence. The biggest fear for me is not failing, but not trying or giving my 100 percent. The regret of IF “I WOULD HAD” is the worst.
