Aditya Birla Group provide products which touch all the segments ranging from metals, textiles, telecom to cements. It leads in fashion, telephony and grey cement, white cement. If anyone is asked about Aditya Birla’s Group brands everyone would mention Pantaloons, Peter England, Allen Solly. These are not only brands, these are emotions and lots of people’s happiness, joy is attached with it. In India, people mostly shop clothes before any celebrations and Pantaloons not only provide clothes of brands but also keep in mind that anyone from middle class to upper class can afford it.
I am shopping in Pantaloons for the past 23 years of my life and every time I get the choice of product that I wanted. During my childhood days I used to see my father buying Peter England formal shirts and from that time I wanted to grow up to wear Peter England formal shirts. Then there came the time when I was called for interview during my btech and my father gifted me a Peter England blue colored shirt to wear in the interview. I don’t know why but I felt confident and lucky wearing that shirt and I finally cleared my interview. From that day to till now if I have purchased or wore any shirt that was of Peter England only.
In our college I am being part of a committee which organizes Run for A Cause where we sell tickets and whatever the money we raise we donate it to a local school in Manipal for their education, sanitation and computers. While organizing the event we need to check various companies’ CSR events to check whether our event matches with any of their events. During that time, I came to know about Aditya Birla Group’s csr activities like Academic Support Center, School Sanitation and I really felt very proud that I contributed to the society by buying from Pantaloons for the past 23 years.
