Understanding and valuing the permanency of dynamism, it has grown to be a Fortune 500 company and now proudly claims to be a US $44.3 billion corporation. It is a parent to 38 companies across 14 industries – metals, textiles, carbon black, telecom and cement. Now, over 50% of its revenues emerge from various operations in North America and South America, Africa and Asia.
ABG has been the topmost player in the production of grey cement, white cement and concrete. I remember seeing a few Utratech Cement bags in my school’s new construction – the strong foundation that made mine equally strong. Moreover, walking on the concrete floors, talking and chatting over the phone, and dressing up for a party among others are some other simple things in life. It consciously carries out projects for women empowerment, education and healthcare drives among other CSR activities. Therefore, despite ABG being just like a large corporation to some, its boundless efforts and the rigour of their activities can always be commended.
