Role Aditya Birla Group has played in making my life big.

“Taking India to the World”, the tagline itself justifies how big a role this industry has played in making India stand globally. Ever since I was born, Aditya Birla Group has been all pervasive. From the products in my wardrobe to the intangible products like financial and telecom services, Aditya Birla Group has been my go-to place. This Indian Multinational Conglomerate has given an employment to over a lakh people and is currently operating in 35 countries with a vision to expand even beyond. This shows that a company with beginnings right after independence is now an industry leader not only in India but globally. Its presence in the market is to an extent that I might be using an Aditya Birla product without being aware about it. So this shows, how humbly a cement industry expanded into a multi-sector industry by deploying proper resources into proper places thus catering to the diversified needs of the people globally. The sectors in which this industry operates is humongous starting from Cement, Fashion and Retail, Telecom, Metals, Textiles, Financial Services and what not.

I am a personal fan of Van Huesen, Louis Philippe, and Allen Solly when it comes to fashion. My father’s office was built with UltraTech Cement a year back. I shop in lifestyle and pantaloons for casual clothes. Basically, my every need is catered by Aditya Birla Group products with both good quality and affordable pricing. All in all, the omnipresence of this industry has made it possible for India to grow and prosper and made my life ABG (A Big Gift).

How I overcame challenges to achieve ambitions so far in my life.

I was always inclined towards film making since I was in a high school. I had no idea what to in future then. So I opted for science stream in 12th Std. to make my options open in the forthcoming. Doing great academically, I was in a dilemma even then about what to choose as a career option. A film making course at that time was not a viable solution. After putting a lot of research and pondering over the thoughts, I opted for a management field in the under graduation, an altogether new field of study. To continue my film making passion, I started a YouTube channel along with my friends named “Humourtainment” which was indulged in making short films and sketches. And in college, I took part in both intra and inter college film making competitions. We won most of the events along with cash prizes and that made me realize I can really do big in this field. But as they say, Film Making is not a stable field. So, a good base for a career was a must. I had to excel in the college which I did. I topped all 4 years of the under graduation and excelled in Extra- Curricular as well. This set the pace for my life and I took part in the India Film Project, a National Film Making competition. I did not win, but the learning was phenomenal. A short film was made within 50 hours. That, I thought was an achievement. In future, I have to manage thousands of people while directing a film and also the resources to be optimally utilized. Henceforth, my current MBA learning will help me achieve that.
