The Aditya Birla Group (ABG) has become a well renowned name in various domains. Besides being well known in the construction sector, they have ventured into retail stores and host brands such as Pantaloons, Van Heusen and Allen Solly. They have dived into the healthcare sector, by setting up camps all across India to facilitate basic healthcare services. They have also been a huge part of many government initiatives, such as Swachh Bharath Abhiyan, Rural Drinking Water Program, etc..
I realize the ABG has been a part of my lifestyle as well. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the group housed various prominent fashion brands that I frequent. My first suit was purchased from Allen Solly. The suit is symbolic of a major turning point in my life. It was at this point that I had decided to take up a post graduation in MBA and prepare for it seriously. It helped me solidify my goals and motivated me to get into one of the top B-Schools in India.
