The CSR team of the Adithya Birla Group works in 5000 villages, reaching 7.5 million people in the country. The 5000 medical camps conducted by the group and the 20 hospitals run by the group provide the health care to more rural parts of the country. It also helped to immunize 70 million children against polio. The group operates 56 schools providing valuable education for the 46,500 school children. The group also provide 63,000 midday meals to the children in 268 different schools. The group helps for the skill training of 95,000 people every year in helping them to find employment. It provides 4,50,000 solar lamps for the school children by bringing light into their lives.
So, the work which the group has been doing in the country is substantial considering the number of people who are getting benefitted by it. It is not an exaggeration to say that the Aditya Birla group is not only playing a bigger role in my life but also playing a much bigger role in the welfare of our nation.
