Aditya Birla Group (ABG), a group that can not be defined in words because “To define is to limit” quoting Oscar Wild. It is a group which has a rich history of 162 years of excellence, operating in more than 35 countries with over 120000 employees serving across the globe and yet connected to ground and making our everyday life simple and beautiful.
Being one of the largest conglomerates of India, there is no such phase in my life that Aditya Birla Group has not touched. To describe why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life, I’m sharing my own experience with ABG.
I belong to a small town in Bihar. I remember, we used to visit our hometown every year in summer vacations. Distance from railway station to my village is around 5 Km but there is no proper road hence it takes 45-60 minutes to reach my village. Condition of road was such that we have to come down from our rickshaw and push it several times in that journey. But I remember, somewhere around 2008-2009 when I went to my village I saw large piles of yellow cement bags on roadside. The bags were quite famous that time due to advertise with tagline “CHALO INDIA BANAY” and I know it was ULTRATECH cement. With curiosity I asked my father why these bags are lying across the road and he said that cement road is being constructed from railway station to our village. After around 40 days when we have to return back, this time the journey from village to railway station took 25-30 minutes and we need not to get down anywhere to push rickshaw. This was the first big impact of Aditya Birla Group in my life.
As I grew up, different subsidiaries of Aditya Birla Group become part of my life knowingly or unknowingly. Be it my first sim card “Idea” with my very first mobile or my first visit to a fashion store “Peter England”. I remember my first business suit of “Louis Philippe” which I purchased to attend my first interview and that ultimately lend me my First Job.
Hence, Aditya Birla Group has touched every aspect of my life. It helped me to evaluate and grow as a person. It gave me confidence , developed my perspective and made me more responsible and dynamic.
