Part-A:- I like the fact that ABG has brought my favourite brands under one umbrella and I would love to work with ABG one day. The best thing about ABG in this regard is that it has tried to maintain a balance among the high- and low-end brands. People and pantaloons cater to a large medium and low-income group sector with a wide variety of informal clothing. Allen Solley and van Heusen offer the best formals with respect to fitting, after-sales services and professionalism to another group of people. Apart from this, the acquisition strategy that ABG has shown by acquiring Jaypore and penetrating into ethnic-wear is quite impressive. I feel, offering “affordable luxury” has been the core of ABG for a very long time and still continues. It clearly reflects with their act of acquiring “Finesse”. I truly adore the way ABG has come a long way since the time my parents were born and still maintains the same impression, it had on their minds.

Part-B:- My life has been a quest to figure out how I can maximize my impact. The seed was sown early in my childhood. My father’s job led him to various places in the country usually without any prior notice or end in sight. Consequently, my mother, me and my sister, managed without his presence for long stretches of time and sometimes had to move along with him. As children, we had to change schools, friends and get adjusted to the new environments frequently. One of my earliest memories is when my father was posted in Assam and was not there with us in Lucknow. My mother fell sick due to typhoid. Since my father couldn’t come, I took charge of things like making dinner, her medicine, going to school and taking care of my sister. This helped my mother recover faster. At that moment, I realized how much impact a single person can have. It also taught me to shoulder greater responsibilities, and that legacy carries on till date. I believe, to do anything great, you need to first set your house in order. Thus, I’ve always tried to do my best wherever I’ve been put and I’ve always tried to pursue things which would maximize my potential in life.
