‘Why Aditya Birla Group is big in your life’. When I was young the two most common words, I have heard were Tata and Birla. These two business families have been so popular names in Indian households because of their empathy towards society. Personally, my childhood has been closely knit to the Aditya Birla group products. The first mobile network of my family was Idea, Hindalco was the first employer of my uncle. The brands of Aditya Birla group have permeated my family, Even now Peter England is my father’s favourite brand, most of my t-shirts are Allen Solly, forever 21 is my sisters’ favourite brand and my formals are from vanheusen. Whenever I go for shopping Vanheusen is the first brand I look for, because it offers me high-quality apparel, with exact fitting which other brands rarely do. Allen Solly is one of the most sought-after brands among my friends’ circle, its t-shirts are very popular and have fitting for everybody’s size. Ultra tech cement is the most widely used cement brand in my neighbourhood. Whenever there is any construction work going on ultra tech cement trucks are seen working there. The first investment I made was into a liquid fund managed by Aditya Birla capital and it has been making money for me since the first day. The reason why my first choice was Aditya Birla capital was the trust I had for the legacy of Aditya Birla Group. I believed in them because I knew that they would be making due diligence of every fund. This trust on the legacy of a company is very rare and this is not only my opinion but most of my fellow Indians. ‘How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in your life so far’ Failures are stepping stones of success is a well-known proverb which is timeless. The more you fail the more you learn and the stronger you become. My father extended this thought by saying you should not only learn from your failures but also from others mistakes since your life time wouldn’t be enough to commit all kinds of mistakes. Since my childhood, I’ve been thought to learn from my failures by my father, who himself was a success story. He had lost his father when he was six months old and since then he struggled a lot financially, but fortunately, he knew the importance of education and studied on scholarships and has become a scientist. He has always told me to commit mistakes in the beginning so that I would be aware of all kinds of failures in the beginning itself and can sail smoothly thereafter. I used to read success stories of great people since childhood and I was attracted to the statements made by great people in their autobiographies. All these life-changing thoughts will always be on the back of my mind and I go back to them whenever I feel disheartened and lost. To face my challenges in life and to be on track, I read these statements every morning at least for 10 minutes, these fill a lot of energy in me and give me a fresh perspective on my life every day. #NMIMSMumbai#ABGLPWooMe
