“Little drops of water make a mighty ocean” – fits very aptly to The Aditya Birla Group which consists of businesses operating in over 15 sectors ranging from banking and fashion to mining and chemicals.

The very first instance when I realized that I was connected to the Aditya Birla group was when I got to know that the caustic soda flakes which were in use in my factory were made by an Aditya Birla group company. From that day onwards, I saw how my life was closely connected to you, whether through chemicals or telecom or fashion brands, everything was in some way or another associated with Aditya Birla group.

An interesting about Aditya Birla group is that it plays an important role in securing lives of countless people across the world through their drive towards sustainability and environment protection. Lately, I learnt that it is heavily investing in modernizing it factories thereby reducing their environmental footprint. Moreover, its women empowerment program is changing the lives of countless women across the world. It is also helping the farmers in adopting sustainable agriculture. Its CSR activities like constructing biogas plants, water reuse systems, etc. have played an important role in protecting earth’s precious resources. It is playing an important role in developing India’s future by supporting children’s education through scholarships, schools and colleges.

Thus, it is the relationship of trust that I and many others have made with Aditya Birla group, which shall continue till eternity.

How do I overcome challenges to achieve my ambitions in life?

“Dream is not that you see in sleep, dream is something that does not let you sleep”- a quote by Dr. Kalam very subtly gives the answer to the above question. It is one’s dream that pushes someone to overcome all obstacles in the path of realizing it. For me, this formula works too.

During graduation, I was elected office bearer for organizing my college fest. It was the result of the hard work that I had put in to gain the trust of my classmates and professors to gave me such a big responsibility. There were a lot of problems that I faced like discord among my team members, arranging funds, getting required documentation in order, etc. But the thing that helped me was my courage and being diligent, that effectively made the mammoth task possible.

Similarly, when I was working, I realised that the production process was quite inefficient and could be improved to achieve better efficiency and simultaneously protecting environment by reducing energy wastage. The challenging part was to convince my father to modify the process which was already giving us returns towards a more environment friendly one. It was through my continued efforts and a lot of patience that I could convince him and I ended up saving our energy bills by about 10%. Thus, it is these small achievements that powers me to achieve more in life.

Thus, doing hard work and never giving up are the qualities that enables me and infact, anyone to achieve something in greater in life.
