Life has a habit of taking us by surprise. Events catch us off guard and send us reeling. One such thing happened to me as well. Last year, during my time at the company I worked with, as my superior was away, I had to single handedly manage a client meeting. On the date of product demonstration with one of the major clients, I, without much exposure of the entire process, took charge of product release and coordination with various teams involved in product development, including testing and product execution while coordinating with developers to implement improvements, introducing changes to demo resume etc. ensuring consistent results are showcased across 4 company products. This experience helped me develop a greater sense of self-worth.

Prior to this, being a fresher, I sometimes did not have enough confidence in the tasks I took on hand, seeking external validation while making critical decisions. Pulling off a project of that big a magnitude encouraged me to build positive confidence and assume more responsibilities at work by taking leadership positions.

This instance helped me to realize that challenges are an unavoidable and inevitable part of being human. Thus, by facing up to challenges and living through them gives us experiences that make up our life.
