The recent demise of Mr. BK Birla has given me the chance to contemplate how much a person can influence. When you hear about the Birla’s, the first thing that comes to mind is the Aditya Birla Group and their legacy in our nations economic and social development.

The Group with over 1,20,000 employees was established in 1857 and in all these years the Group has diversified into many businesses like Agri, carbon black, cement, chemicals, ecommerce, finance, mining, retail, telecommunications, textiles and wind power. Aditya Birla Group is a perfect example of an Indian conglomerate that has immensely helped and is helping in building the nation.

I, being a person hailing from an agricultural family has had the privilege to interact with almost all of the businesses of this particular conglomerate. The one thing that I can vouch for the company is its quality in every aspect of the product or the service it provides. We can sense the integrity in the quality they provide. The undetermined commitment towards its customers. The passion in the work they do. The seamlessness in the services they provide and the speed with which they operate. These are all the admirable things that make Aditya Birla group, a one of its kind organization.

Apart from these the company is making new deals on the go to sustain in this VUCA world maintaining both its legacy as well as an edge over other companies. All these ideals and strategies helps us redefining who we are and shows us what we can become.
