When you have a plethora of options, it is an operose task to choose few, when this topic came in front of me, a flurry of names flashed through my mind, my flat-mates, class-mates and who not, undoubtedly it was a tough job to shortlist 4-5 out of those. Here are profiles of a few of them:

The clock in the mess said 9:15 pm, and I realized I have 15 minutes more to rush back to “Acad” (Academic) block before the classroom doors are locked. I could feel my eyes tired and heavy with sleep but of course why wouldn’t I? My day started at 8 in the morning and I’ve only had 4 hours and 15 minutes of sleep last night, to be precise, after completing the tasks and assignments. But I continue to talk myself out of being clumsy and cribbing for not having my luxurious sleep (8-10 hours), back home, 2 days ago. I brace up myself and walk into the classroom for my presentation, which is a part of the induction program for the newly joined batch. The excitement of having joined an IIM drove most of my colleagues (including me) to buckle up in spite of the tiring day, as the roller coaster ride continued for the second day.
While selecting an IIM, while I was doing some research on the colleges I have converted I, I heard a few people saying that Kashipur has a slight connectivity issue.It may pose a disadvantage during my placement process as companies will be reluctant to visit my campus.
21 st June 2018 was the day when I first set foot on the humongous campus of IIM Trichy. With 5 bags of luggage and one of mixed emotions, I began my beautiful journey in this prestigious B school. 2 days later, the week long orientation program was supposed to begin and I just did not know what to expect out of it. I stepped into my hostel room which couldn’t look prettier. It took me 2 days to unpack and settle in. Finally, the day of orientation arrived and 180 anxious faces sat in the auditorium waiting to be addressed by the Director and Chief Guest. Minutes turned into hours and hour into days as we patiently tried to absorb each and every word spoken by prominent industry leaders. However, something unexpectedly absurd happened on 26 th June.
The question that every student asks himself when taking admissions is what is unique about the campus and why should I live my next two years in this city. Let me make some things clear by giving you the unique qualities of IIM Kashipur.
23 rd June – a large number of strangers stepped in
Upon completion of graduation, I started working in the largest banking services software company in the world- Oracle financial services software(OFSS). Working in OFSS was a great experience. I learned many banking terminologies and how banks operate. While working full time in OFSS, I started trading in the Indian equity market part time. Once I had enough experience I decided to quit OFSS and trade full time.
