It isn’t the best, but soon will be. The shift to the new campus situated in one of the most well-planned smart cities, Naya Raipur, is highly awaited by all the students alike. But that is mainly because it’s human nature to get attracted to things that are brand new. It doesn’t mean that this campus doesn’t deserve credit. Let me tell you why.
EDUCATION IS THE MOST IMPORTANT WEAPON THAT ONE CAN CHOOSE TO CHANGE THE WORLD.
Though the colleges provide the similar courses still they are enormously different in culture. And this unique culture makes IIM Raipur unique. It has a blend of cultures from the different part of the country and the cherry in the top the student exchange program that gives us the opportunity to interact with the people all around the world.
What do you get when you add child-like enthusiasm with a sudden need of seriousness? The first day of MBA. But that’s another post. How does your experience from day one stick with you forever?
I glanced at my peers- the diversity they come from, the various skills they bring to the table and I admired them. They are like petals of a flower- colourful. They are like a colour palette showcasing unity in diversity. From a glance, I choose to talk about the 5 I really get inspired by. Here's is my lens:
It was our second day at SDA Bocconi Asia Center since the IMB 7 program got inaugurated. We were full of enthusiasm to shape our careers and achieve our dreams. After our first accounts session with Prof. Laura, we couldn’t have been happier. Now we were anticipating which clubs and committees we could map our interests towards as they play a really important role in our CV’s. Thankfully, our seniors had planned it well for us and we were informed that we’ll be given a pitch by all the clubs at our B school so that we can have a clear picture and the right aim.
And there I stood, an amateur commerce graduate, who didn’t know what to do next for her career. Having also cleared the Intermediate level of Chartered Accountancy course during my graduation, made things only more ambiguous. Because I did not see myself doing that desk job, I was sure that at least a career in Finance was not something that I was behind for.
“Education is a luxury, not everyone can afford”.
