Under the social initiative—iHelp, around 200 students from the government schools in Indore visited the IIM Indore campus on November 17, 2016. These students belong to the four government schools adopted by IIM Indore and are invited to visit the campus annually. The objective of this visit is to inspire the children through recreational means. The visit was also a part of Children’s Day celebration by iHelp.

Sir MV, as he was popularly known, was a man who excelled at many different fields and is a colossus not only in engineering but in managing enormous projects. He is remembered today as an engineer par excellence, a highly respected statesman, economist, a multifaceted personality and a visionary thinker.

To recognize and appreciate the role of engineers, Engineer’s Day is celebrated across the world. In India we celebrate it on 15th of September — the birthday of the greatest Indian Engineer, Bharat Ratna Sir M Visvesvaraya as a tribute to his contributions.
It was a day of celebration as students of the Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi expressed their love and gratitude for the faculty of the institution on 5th September, 2016. The event to mark the celebrations was organized at State Museum, Khelgaon. The birth anniversary of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan was commemorated with full fervour at IIM Ranchi. The auditorium was packed with enthusiastic students who left no stone unturned to make the event as engaging and entertaining as possible

All the members of IIM Ranchi family came together on 15th August, 2016 to celebrate 70 years of Independence of our beloved nation. All the students gathered at Suchna Bhawan for the flag hoisting ceremony. Students in crisp traditional dresses carrying the national flag, patriotic music in the background, beautifully decorated podium and serene weather in Ranchi only added to the day’s charm. The ceremony begun as our Director-in-charge, Dr. Anindya Sen and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Brigadier V.S. Saini unfurled the national flag, followed by the National Anthem.
