As I started to pen this down and think about how unknowingly this group has touched my life, it made me realise the true meaning of ‘legacy’. For often we have chased the perfect life, a good job, settling down, making your family and friends proud. But to be able to do something which impacts a lot of lives without even them knowing about it, is a true sense of the legacy which I always wanted to build. The ABG group helps me stay connected with my family and friends several thousand kilometres away, making me feel at home in an unknown city, be it with the telephone connectivity or the phone in my hand itself. It is also the life of the life-line, an indispensable part of the heart of Mumbai – The trains. For me and many others, it is their means to their workplace and home, for others it is their home, their office, their means to a livelihood, their life itself. Woven into the very fabric of everyday life, and literally too, they’re an imperative part of the memories, from the countless moments shared over school lunches, to the shirt which landed me my first job, the gifts I bought for the family from my first salary, to protecting the warmth of the home-cooked food, they’re a part of the place which everyone calls home. To be able to influence so many lives, be it through their products or their impactful advertising - breaking societal norms, and talking about the issues in our lives to spreading social awareness, they did not just help us build our lives, but also helped build a nation.
As a young boy in my teenage I was fascinated with many things, but coming from a middle-class family I was bound with some restrictions. I was given everything after a particular time and the person presenting those things was my father. My father has been there for me all his life trying to fulfill my needs and desires. In the list of things, I was fascinated by there is another thing, wearing a suit.

Challenges are the very important and inevitable part of each one’s life. There are various challenges that came in my path and I have worked on it to achieve it. Some of them includes adjusting life in new city. I was from a small town and have been there till my high school. When I came Mumbai to pursue my graduation, it was a hard road. Adjusting in this fast life city, with the people with totally different mindset and a life which is much unknown to me. In that state, concentrating on ambitions became difficult. But after sometime when I changed the focus from life to work, things started getting into place. With all the confusion of what to do with the life and finding my dreams, I came across different fields which caught my attention and one of them was marketing and operations. But things started falling apart again when I was going nowhere and had no clue what to do, so that I can move forward. I started losing all my faith and confidence. Then I got a slight opportunity, when I got an opportunity to conduct an event in college. I knew one thing, that is something I will do, and this will only show me the way ahead. With all the support and determination, I conducted that event successfully and that helped me regain my lost confidence. Through that one opportunity I was again on my path. Started learning more and detailed concepts from marketing, Got into an amazing marketing oriented B-School and now working on the road to success.
