D. Birla Institute have given me many reasons to celebrate the advent of Aditya Birla Group.
I faced the biggest challenge of my life in 2011 when I was stuck on the rooftop of a house for 3 days in Moradabad flood. I had to take care of my mother who fell sick and there was no one else to lean on. I gathered the limited amount of drinking water that was available from the flooded house from a water bottle that was kept in the refrigerator and before the water started to accumulate I was able to think quickly on my feat and grab 4 slices of bread left in the packet. The battery of my phone was at 10% and I kept in on switch off mode and used very cautiously for informing my father of the state and developments as he was in a different city. For 3 days, I stayed in the sun, formed a tent on the roof from the plastic wrap that was present on top of water tank. I used a cloth piece “dupatta”and a bucket tied to the “dupatta” to accumulate and gather water and food packets that were thrown from air and by relief providing agencies. The water took 3 days to recede to level where it was safe to come down. Everything we had in the house was lost, and we had to struggle for 3 months to get the house back on track and handle the situation to set it back to normal. By that time my board exams for class 12th appeared and I was left with no time prepare, I still managed to do well in my exams because my basics were clear. Now when I look back, I feel proud to have gone through that and still came out stronger than the situation. It taught me the strength of my will power and strength of standing together as a family.

Each day was so typical and boring, the same hurry to catch the auto-rickshaw every morning and after the school got over my tired-eyes surveyed through the large gathering of parents who came to pick their wards, looking for my Papa. But then I used to pull myself down to reality, realizing that It has been just a few weeks when he turned up at my school gate to pick me up.
